Abstract/Summary:
In order to achieve the grand goal of building a socialist country under the rule of law,China has incorporated education on the rule of law into the national education system,starting with young people,and carrying out education on the rule of law for the whole people.As the main channel of rule of law education,schools undertake the important task of cultivating students’ legal awareness and thinking about the rule of law.Schools at all levels,especially primary and secondary schools,should actively carry out rule of law education and focus on cultivating students’ rule of law and legal literacy,so that the rule of law and the idea of doing things according to law integrate into the growth and development of students and daily learning and behavior activities,and internalize it into a firm belief in the heart,helping students consciously become advocates,obeyers and defenders of the law,and consciously become supporters and enthusiasts of the construction of the socialist rule of law.Japan is deeply influenced by Confucian culture and has made great achievements in the education of the rule of law,which is worth learning from our country.This article first clarifies the development process of rule of law education in Japanese primary and secondary schools from the Meiji Restoration in 1868 to 1945,and after 1945;and then elaborates the specific measures in six aspects of Japanese primary and secondary school law education,including the curriculum,educational objectives and content,teaching materials,educational methods,and teaching methods,faculty resources,ways of cooperation between school,family and society.Then summarize its advantages and characteristics,which are mainly manifested in the integration of law education into various courses,the diversification of education methods,the relative social participation system and the faculty resources of rule of law education are strong.Finally,the thesis combines the status quo and problems of the development of the rule of law education in primary and secondary schools in our country,and puts forward the enlightenment and reference of the rule of law education in Japanese primary and secondary schools to our country.At present,the rule of law education in primary and secondary schools in China still has many problems,like insufficient attention to the rule of law education in schools,lack of supporting legal education evaluation system,insufficient legal education resources,low degree of professionalization of rule of law teachers,relatively single education and teaching methods,insufficient family and social participation,etc.The enlightenment and reference of the rule of law education in Japanese primary and secondary schools for our country are:China should clarify the importance of rule of law education in primary and secondary schools,further improve the overall plan of rule of law education;improve the school rule of law education work system;strengthen the training of rule of law teachers,and improve teachers’ overall legal literacy and professionalism;optimize the content and resources of rule of law education,and innovate the teaching methods of rule of law,and improve students’ability to practice the rule of law;give full play to the advantages of all parties in the society,promote the trinity of schools,families and society,build a normalized social participation mechanism and ultimately promote the rule of law education of primary and secondary schools has achieved greater results in order to help build our country into a socialist country ruled by law.
