With the continuous development of China’s economy and society,people’s living standards are improving day by day,and community work also affects all aspects of people’s lives,and becomes increasingly important.Community is the link between residents and government,the key of mass autonomy,the cornerstone of optimizing social governance environment.To a great extent,community work can solve and reflect grass-roots problems,safeguard the interests of the masses and coordinate social relations.However,because of the lack of an effective performance appraisal system in China,community workers lack enthusiasm and specific work objectives in actual management,and lack of overall cognition and application of the evaluation system.This paper takes D street community as the research object,and gives the optimization suggestions on performance appraisal system from the perspective of equity theory.Through the field interview and investigation of the staff in D street community,the paper summarizes the existing assessment system of D Street Community in the practical application,such as unclear assessment index,fuzzy assessment cycle,strong limitation of the subject,deviation of value orientation The reward and punishment mode needs to be optimized and combined with relevant theories and problems to further propose improvement suggestions and directions,formulate and improve performance evaluation system for the lack of performance,and carry out the training for community workers to help community workers better grasp the work affairs,hoping to promote the better development of community governance in China.
