Research On The Management Of City Volunteer Service In Large-scale Competitions

The success of large-scale competitions is inseparable from the active participation of urban volunteers.More and more volunteers take the initiative to join the large-scale urban competitions to carry out voluntary services.A large number of urban volunteers participated in the Beijing Olympics,the Guangzhou Asian Games,the Nanjing Asian Youth Games,the Hangzhou G20 Summit,and the Wuhan Military Games.The importance of urban volunteers in large-scale competitions has become increasingly apparent.Urban volunteer service management is an important guarantee for the high-quality development of voluntary services.At present,the urban volunteer service management in Taiyuan is still in its infancy.The volunteer service practice time is not long and the management experience needs to be enriched.A relatively complete urban volunteer service management operation mechanism has not yet been formed.Compared with the developed areas,Taiyuan still has a long way to go.The management of urban voluntary service in China is in urgent need of optimization and improvement.Studying the urban volunteer service management mode of the Taiyuan Division of the Second Youth League,analyzing the problems in the management of urban volunteer services when holding large-scale competitions,and further exploring the reasons for the problems,which will help to find more scientific and efficient urban volunteer service management experience and countermeasures,Not only puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the management of large-scale competitions in Taiyuan and similar cities,but also provides a useful reference for the formation of a normalized development model of volunteer services in Taiyuan.The research content of this article is divided into five parts.The first part fully introduces the basic concepts and basic theories used in this article,and combines project management theory and third-party management theory to discuss related issues of urban volunteer service management.The second part elaborated on the management mode of urban volunteer service of the Second Youth League,and introduced the management system,basic process and management effect of the urban volunteer service of the Second Youth League.The third part uses empirical analysis method and interview method to analyze the three aspects of functional management department,volunteer management link,and volunteer service process to find out the main problems in the management of urban volunteer service in the Second Youth League.The fourth part is the analysis of the reasons for the problems in the management of the urban volunteer service of the Second Youth League.Through the analysis,it is concluded that the main reasons are the inadequate planning,the poor management process,and the lack of long-term management mechanism.The fifth part proposes countermeasures and suggestions to improve the management of urban volunteer service in the Second Youth League,which can continuously optimize the management of urban volunteer service by doing enough preliminary planning work,improving the voluntary service management process,and establishing a long-term management mechanism.This article proposes some targeted suggestions to improve the level of urban volunteer service management,and attempts to explore voluntary service management countermeasures that are in line with the actual conditions and development laws of the city.It provides reference for the long-term development of volunteer services in Taiyuan,and also provide assistance to promote the construction of spiritual civilization in Taiyuan.At the same time,it also puts forward some ideas for the management of urban volunteer services in similar cities where large-scale competitions are held.
