Research On Public Security Management Of Floating Population Under The Jurisdiction Of Xi’an Zhangba Road Police Station

With the gradual maturity and perfection of the socialist market economy system,the level of urbanization in China has improved significantly.Affected by the changes of resources and environment,people begin to flow from small towns to big cities in a large scale,and population flow has gradually become a new normal.As a national central city,Xi’an attracts a large number of foreign population,forming a unique floating population city.On the one hand,because of the large scale of floating population,it provides human support for the urban development of Xi’an.On the other hand,with the continuous increase of population,the difficulty of urban public security management is increasing.According to statistics of public security organs,compared with registered residence population,the possibility of floating population’s crime is greater and the number of people is more,which has already hindered the harmonious and stable development of Xi’an.Therefore,the importance of public security management of floating population in Xi’an has become the focus of work of all levels of government departments,and the police station is in the most basic and critical position in the management of the public security of floating population.This paper first analyzes the data of the rights and interests protection mechanism of the floating population under the jurisdiction of Xi’an Zhangba Road police station,and then starts from the characteristics and current situation of public security management to comprehensively explore the current public security management of the floating population in Xi’an.Then,explore and summarize the specific reasons,mainly the community police work enthusiasm is low,the floating population security management work efficiency is low,the floating population security management way is old and backward,the level of public participation is low.Finally,combined with the actual situation of Xi’an,this paper puts forward some ideas and suggestions to improve the public security management of Xi’an floating population from four aspects: improving the enthusiasm of community police work,improving the information management system of floating population,innovating the public security management mode of floating population,and improving the public participation.
