A Study On Local Government’s Investment Promotion

Investment promotion has always been an economic activity led by local governments to attract foreign enterprises or investors to invest locally.It plays an important role in local financial revenue,regional competitiveness and people’s living standard.All local governments regard attracting investment as the key and core of accelerating local economic development,and regard attracting investment as the "first priority".Therefore,how the local government to play a positive role in the process of attracting investment has become the key to success.Taking Pingding County as an example,this paper combs and analyzes the measures and achievements of attracting investment in Pingding County in recent years,and focuses on some problems in the process of attracting investment,such as single way of attracting investment,lack of supervision,low level of soft power,etc;Tracing back to the source,looking for the causes of these problems,such as the lack of top-level design,role positioning deviation,subjective and objective constraints,etc;Finally,try to give some suggestions to solve the problem,hope to avoid similar problems in the future work,improve the efficiency and achievements of local government in the investment work,so that the local government can be more open attitude,broader vision and more pragmatic measures,establish a better business environment,and strive to create a new situation in the investment work.
