A Study On The Identity Of Migrant Workers Of Ethnic Groups In The City Under The Perspective Of Marx’s Social Communication Theory

The identity of migrant workers from ethnic groups refers to the process by which ethnic groups realize the overall transformation from foreigners to local urban citizens and integrate into the local society,and finally realize their identity.This process is not only the process of its own development,but also the process of changing the identity,occupation,lifestyle and other aspects of farmers and herdsmen,as well as improving the urban acceptance system and improving the attitude of citizens.Therefore,promoting the realization of the identity of ethnic migrant workers in cities has become the foothold of the management of migrant workers of ethnic groups in China,and has also become the focus of attention and research in academia.With the development trend of the continuous expansion of the scale of migrant workers in cities and the injection of new blood veins into urban construction and development,ethnic migrant workers have also encountered some difficulties and obstacles in the process of building identity.Although there must be a gradual process of their integration into the city,the realization of true identity is not only related to their own development,but also affects the cooperation and exchanges of all ethnic groups and the harmonious development of society.Therefore,we must face up to the problems that have arisen in the process of building the identity of migrant workers in cities,explore the root causes of the problems,and explore ways to overcome difficulties,so as to accelerate the process of realizing the identity of migrant workers from ethnic groups.Marx’s classic interpretation of the theory of social interaction is the theoretical support for us to correctly understand the identity status of migrant workers from ethnic groups in cities,and points out the direction for us to solve the dilemma of identity and realize the free and harmonious development of people.Based on the status and role of ethnic migrant workers in society,it is particularly important to strengthen the study of their urban integration and identity.Therefore,taking the Inner Mongolia region as an example,from the perspective of Marx’s social communication theory and taking Marxist theory as the guidance,this study selects three dimensions:political participation,economic consumption and cultural service to explain the degree to which it realizes identity.
