Rural Construction Of The Communist Party Of China In The Early Days Of New China(1949-1956)

In the early days of the founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China,the remnants of the domestic feudal forces remained,the people’s hearts were unstable,the foreign war to resist the United States and Aid Korea was not yet over,and its international status was not yet stable.Faced with such a complicated situation at home and abroad,the rural construction carried out by the Communist Party of China in the vast rural areas is not only an important link in consolidating political power,post-war recovery,and self-help production,also with its formulation and implementation of "urban leadership in rural areas,industry leadership in agriculture," the policy fit.In the early days of the founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China,drawing on the valuable experience of base area construction during the revolutionary period,the CPC took more in-depth and concrete measures in rural political,economic,cultural and health construction.Shanxi Province was the main battlefield behind the enemy during the anti-japanese war,and the base built by the Communist Party of China in Shanxi Province played an indelible and unique role during the revolutionary period.In the early years of the People’s Republic of China,the achievements of rural construction in Shanxi were still remarkable: the extensive construction of rural democratic politics planted the seeds of democracy while consolidating the grass-roots political power in rural areas,the comprehensive and in-depth agricultural technology improvement movement greatly increased rural productivity,enriched and diversified cultural activities and patriotic health movement updated the rural features,in the process of rural construction,farmers’ productivity level,living habits,ideas and other aspects have undergone earth-shaking changes.In the process of rural construction under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,such experiences as the importance of the masses and the importance of people’s livelihood still have theoretical guiding significance for the solution of the "three rural issues" today,in the early years of New China,the measures such as renewing agricultural production technology,carrying out patriotic health campaign and eliminating illiteracy are still of great practical value to the promotion of rural revitalization strategy.However,most of the studies on rural construction in the early period of New China focus on the land reform movement,focusing on rural political and economic construction,while the systematic study on rural health and cultural construction is neglected.In view of this,this paper takes the rural construction of Shanxi Province as the research object in the early period of New China,and focuses on the rural health and cultural construction,using the method of historical data analysis,this paper makes a systematic study on the background,reasons,concrete measures and actual effects of the rural construction carried out by the Communist Party of China in Shanxi at that time,with a view to contemporary China’s rural revitalization strategy to provide a historical reference and reference.
