Study On The Public Service Ability Of The Comprehensive Archives In Zunyi City

With the further and deep promotion of service-oriented government,the public service functions of comprehensive archives at all levels are further clarified and improved.In addition,now the main contradiction in our society is the contradiction between the people’s growing needs for a better life and the unbalanced and insufficient development.People’s pursuit of a better life is not only reflected in material life,but also reflected more in cultural life.People’s demand for archival information and archival culture is increasing day after day.It is urgent to speed up the opening of archives,use archives more often and improve the quality and efficiency of archival services.All these require archives to strengthen the construction of public service ability,focus on the issues of service concept,service mode,service demand and others,meet the people’s increasing archival demand,improve public service ability,and realize the transformation and upgrading from only serving within the system to serving the mass people.This is also the practical need for comprehensive archives at all levels to comply with the call of the era and achieve their own development.With field research and on the basis of consulting and collecting a lot of relevant documents,and with interviews within a certain range,this paper designs “The Questionnaire on Access and Utilization Services and Exhibition of Archives in Zunyi City”,surveyed the archives users and exhibition visitors,and collects relevant data for analysis,This paper studies the public service ability of Municipal Comprehensive Archives in Zunyi City--Zunyi Archives.The study mainly analyzes the current situation and problems of the archives’ public service ability from four aspects: resource management,scientific service,product development and service implementation,and puts forward countermeasures.The study found that Zunyi archives has performed well in terms of archives resource management ability,scientific service ability,product development ability and service execution ability,and has certain public service ability,but there are still some problems,such as improper content structure of archives,low informatization level,improper checking and using mode,weak product development ability,weak public service consciousness,improper construction of talent team,and this paper brings up some suggestions for improving the public service ability of Zunyi archives,such as establishing and improving the archives resource system,promoting the construction of archives information,expanding the development of archives cultural products,strengthening the construction of archives talent team,etc.
