| Social adaptation is one of the most critical factors that affect the follow-up development of the relocated elderly population.This paper is mainly based on the perspective of spatial sociology theory,using the questionnaire survey method and participatory observation method to conduct in-depth research on the B resettlement area in Xingyi City,Southwest Guizhou,from the three dimensions of physical space,social space and meaning space.The study found that the elderly population after relocation mainly faced low degree of freedom of living space,low stability of living space and low degree of integration of public space in the process of social adaptation;The traditional social relations are weakened,the participation in community construction is low,and the reverse reconstruction of order space breaks the traditional cognition of the elderly group;There are some problems in the emotional space,such as the "semi identity" state and the gap between the imaginary space and the real space.Further,it is pointed out that the social adaptation paths to promote the relocation of the elderly groups in ex situ poverty alleviation include:(1)combining micro vegetable garden agriculture with land demand,meeting the local complex,combining government assistance with social work services,achieving sustainable livelihoods,combining rule building with emotional care,and changing the control logic;(2)To set up universities for the elderly,build a society of acquaintances,support self-organized groups,enhance the awareness of participation,coordinate intergenerational conflicts,and adapt to the change of order;(3)Actively build a "three sense" community,build a community of immigrants,and establish a multi-level elderly care supply system to meet the needs of a better life. |
