The Quality Of Community Elderly Care Services In Taiyuan City:Evaluation And Improvement Policy

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China puts forward that new progress should be made in treating diseases and providing for the elderly.Providing for the aged is not only an important problem for every family,but also a necessary step for the country to realize the overall well-off society.At present,the degree of population aging in Taiyuan is deepening day by day,which shows the problems such as the insufficient supply and poor quality of community old-age service.However,traditional home care is still the first choice for the vast majority of the elderly,and the drawbacks caused by such methods,such as insufficient attention to children and difficulty in guaranteeing service quality,are gradually revealed.“The elderly have support” expresses the elderly’s pursuit of the quality of life in old age,“the elderly can make a difference” is weighing a city,a region even a country’s economic development and the cultural height,because it is a matter of national livelihood and people’s wellbeing,it is particularly important that the social problems brought about by the population aging can be properly solved.We should start from improving the quality of old-age service to turn this dream into reality,therefore,the research on the quality of community elderly care services in Taiyuan City was carried out.By access online information,master the relevant theories and empirical models of the elderly service quality evaluation,after comparing applicability,select SERVPERF model,replace the perceptibility dimension with the economic dimension,building the quality evaluation index system.Data were collected from four community institutions within the jurisdiction of Yingze District,Wanbailin District and Xiaodian District through questionnaires,interviews and other methods.Use SPSS statistical software to quantitatively analyze and evaluate the model,and use AMOS to verify the evaluation results.The empirical analysis of the survey results shows that the quality of community elderly care service is significantly positively affected by the five evaluation dimensions:spiritual comfort services,medical assistance services,cleaning assistance services,cultural elderly care services and meal assistance services.Explained the results of the service quality factor analysis,and the confirmatory factor analysis is carried out on the service quality evaluation results.The goodness of fit of the model is good and the service quality evaluation adaptability in high.There is a positive correlation between the five elderly care services.In view of the weak links with low evaluation,suggestions for improving service quality are put forward: improve the construction of community elderly care service facilities,strengthen the construction of professional nursing personnel,expand the content of community elderly care services,standardize the implementation rules of community elderly care services,and empower the intelligent development of community elderly care services.
