Research On Theconstruction Of Old-age Friendly Communit Y Community In Shanghai

Shanghai is the first city in my country to enter the aging city and has the highest degree of aging.Faced with severe and urgent form of aging,Shanghai has initiated the construction of an aging-friendly community in 2009.It has achieved remarkable results and has explored some useful experiences,but there are still some problems,for instance,insufficient supply of community elderly care services and uneven supply of various elderly care services,etc.The evaluation and optimization of the construction of age-friendly communities can help discover the shortcomings of the current construction of age-friendly communities in Shanghai,create a more convenient community environment for the elderly,promote the physical and mental health of the elderly and the development of active aging.Then an healthy Shanghai will be built.The thesis takes the current construction of friendly elderly communities in Shanghai as the research object,sorts out and analyzes the current status and existing indicators of the construction of friendly elderly communities systematically,based on the theory of new public service theory,welfare pluralism theory,and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory.Specific research is carried out from three main aspects: the construction of the evaluation index system for the construction of Shanghai’s age-friendly communities,the empirical analysis of the evaluation of the construction of Shanghai’s age-friendly communities,and foreign experience.Finally,an optimization strategy is proposed.The specific research includes: Firstly,the representative indicators are screened through the Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Process（AHP）,and the establishment of Shanghai’s evaluation system of aging friendly communities in three aspects: “community physical facility services”,“community cultural entertainment services”,and “community health services”;Secondly,based on the evaluation system constructed,the thesis investigates and analyzes the community experience of the elderly in Shanghai,and evaluate the current status of the construction of a friendly community for the elderly by SPSS22.0 software,statistical comprehensive scoring method,and descriptive statistics method;Thirdly,the paper systematically sorts out the development of friendly communities for the elderly in the United Kingdom,the United States,Australia,and Canada.Based on the evaluation of the current situation and the experience of foreign construction,the optimization strategy for the construction of the elderly friendly community in Shanghai is proposed.The research process coincided with the new crown epidemic,so the paper innovatively added relevant indicators of community emergency management to the construction of the indicator system.The research concluded that:（1）Generally speaking,the construction situation of Shanghai’s age-friendly community and related indicators and service quality are relatively good,at a medium-to-high level;（2）Specifically,the construction of “community physical facility services” is relatively complete;the investment of government in "community cultural and entertainment services" is not enough,and the channels for elderly participation are narrow;"community health and sanitation services" are relatively complete,but the service items need to be further expanded.Based on these,the paper proposes optimization strategies from four aspects:government,society,market,and community.
