Construction And Application Of Data Governance Model For Institutional Research Data Repository

The Consortium of Institutional Research Data Repository(IRDR)is an emerging institution for research data management and sharing.And ho w to promote the open sharing of scientific research data,data preservation and value increase,risk prevention and control through data go vernance is a problem that cannot be ignored.Based on the theory of data governance,this paper construct a data governance model for the Consortium of IRDR by a large number of literature research.And find an effective way to improve the efficiency and service level of the Consortium of IRDR.It provides a reference for data go vernance of scientific research data organization in China.This paper uses the expert interview method to revise the data governance model,and selects the foreign IRDR with large influence to conduct empirical analysis.This dissertation consists of 5 chapters:The Chapter 1 is the introduction.The research background and significance o f the paper are analyzed,and this part discusses the status quo of domestic and overseas,elaborate the research content,the methods adopted in the study process,the innovations and the difficulties during research.The Chapter 2 is the analysis of relevant theories and concepts.First of all,it sorts out the relevant theories of building data go vernance model,and provides theoretical support for the construction of the alliance.Secondly,defines and analyzes related concepts to clarify the research object of this paper.The Chapter 3 builds a data go vernance model for the Consortium of IRDR.Firstly,the principles and methods of model construction are explained.Then,the general data governance activities and the characteristics of the IRDR allianc e are used to extract the elements of the alliance data governance.The data governance model are constructed according to the model elements.Finally,the model is revised by expert interviews.The Chapter 4 uses the ICPSR as an example for empirical analysis.Firstly,this part introduce the basic situation of ICPSR,and then applies data governance model for the Consortium of IRDR into ICPSR,in response to the challenges of data governance faced by ICPSR.The Chapter 5 is the conclusion.This part system summarizes the main conclusions of this study,points out the inadequacies of the research and the future research directions.
