Research Objective: Studies have pointed out that compared with carbohydrate(CHO)supplementation alone,CHO and protein(PRO)supplementation can better improve endurance performance. In these studies, the timing of supplementation is mostly during or after exercise.Relatively few studies have supplemented CHO and PRO before endurance exercise. In addition, the supplementary programs in the previous studies have different intake calories.Rarely, the endurance performance test is performed by running to exhaustion. Therefore, this experiment hopes to use the running-to-exhaustion exercise model to explore whether the combined supplement of CHO and PRO will better improve the performance of endurance sports, and whether the performance of endurance sports will be better when the calorie intake between the groups is equal.Post-fatigue and muscle damage have a better recovery.Research Methods: Ten male subjects with a certain endurance training basis(trained at least 3 times a week)were recruited in the experiment. The maximum oxygen uptake was 53.61 ± 3.86 ml / kg · min.The experimental design uses a randomized cross-controlled experiment. Each runner is tested for three running exercises, with a 7-day interval between the three tests. The exercise test plan is from running to exhaustion. The test can be divided into two stages with no time interval between the two stages. In the first stage,a one-hour quantitative load running was performed at 70% of the maximum oxygen uptake intensity, and in the second stage,80% of the maximum oxygen uptake intensity was used to run to exhaustion. For each running test, three different supplements were added in a random manner. The supplementation time was 30 minutes before the first phase of the running test and the end of the first phase. Each supplementary measurement was supplemented with0.4g / kg * body weight. The three supplements are: CHO(CHO + CHO)supplemented half an hour before and at the end of the first stage;PRO supplemented half an hour before the first stage;CHO(PRO + CHO)supplemented at the end of the first stage;Replenish CHO half an hour before the first phase, and add PRO(CHO +PRO)at the end of the first phase. In addition,in the first stage, the subject was provided with a carbohydrate solution metered at 1.2 g / kg * body weight, provided as a liquid every 10 minutes. In the experiment, venous blood was collected 30 minutes before exercise, immediately after exercise and 24 hours after exercise, and subjects were asked to complete the VAS scale to analyze aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, insulin,Indexes of albumin, creatine kinase, testosterone and cortisol.Morning urine was collected the next day after the test and trimethylhistidine was measured in the urine.Research Results: Three different supplement schemes did not cause a significant difference in the sprint exhaustion time after the end of quantitative load running(CHO + CHO: 432.36 ± 225.51s;PRO + CHO: 463.82 ± 227.45s;CHO +PRO: 461.45 ± 248.5s;P> 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups supplemented with PRO before and after the exercise in the CHO + CHO group(P> 0.05).The levels of aspartate transferase and alanine transferase in the PRO + CHO group were significantly lower than those in the CHO + CHO group immediately after the end of exercise and 24 hours after exercise(P <0.05).Myoglobin levels in the PRO + CHO group and CHO + PRO group were significantly lower than those in the CHO + CHO group at 24 h after exercise(P<0.05),but only the creatine kinase levels in the PRO + CHO group were significantly lower than at 24 h after exercise CHO + CHO group(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in testosterone and cortisol levels between the three groups before exercise, immediately after exercise, and 24 hours after exercise(P>0.05).In addition, the levels of trimethylhistidine in the three groups at 24 h after exercise were significantly higher than those before exercise(P <0.05),and the levels of trimethylhistidine at 24 h after exercise were significantly lower in the two groups supplemented with PRO than in those with only supplementation Sugar group(P<0.05).24 hours after the subjects completed the exercise, the VAS value was significantly lower in the two groups supplemented with PRO than in the CHO +CHO group(P <0.05).Research Conclusion: In the case of the same calorie intake, compared with CHO supplementation alone, the combined supplementation strategy of CHO and PRO does not prolong the exhaustion time and does not significantly improve the performance of endurance exercise, but can relieve muscle damage caused by endurance exercise and promote fatigue recovery after exercise.Compared with protein supplementation during exercise, protein supplementation before exercise can better relieve muscle damage caused by endurance exercise.
