Purpose: This study uses the last 10 to 15 minutes of physical training time in each physical education class to conduct an 8-week YOYO training to explore the feasibility of using YOYO practice methods to improve the endurance quality of elementary school students in fifth grade, and The feasibility in elementary school physical education classrooms provides new training methods for the training of pupils’ endurance qualities,to add new training methods to reduce the tediousness of primary training for pupils, and also to provide theoretical support for improving the endurance qualities of pupils. Methods: This experiment used literature data method, experimental method and mathematical statistics method, and selected two classmates from the fifth grade of Sanjiao Primary School in Anwai,Beijing as the research object, one of which was the experimental group and the other was the control group.30 students each in the control class. Each research object was approved by the school and parents. Results: Two morphological indicators such as height and weight, two physiological indicators to evaluate cardiopulmonary function such as vital capacity-trip running,one-minute skipping rope,one-minute sit-ups,50-meter running,etc.5 sports quality indicators. All subjects were tested for various research indicators before and after the experiment. After statistical analysis, there was no statistical difference between the indicators of the experimental group before the experiment, indicating that the physical quality and function of the experimental group and the control group were at the same level. The experimental group uses the end of the physical education class on Monday and Wednesday for 10 to 15 minutes, including warm-up,YOYO training and stretching relaxation;the control group is led by physical education teachers to complete normal physical education and endurance exercises every Tuesday and Thursday,No additional YOYO training. The research results show that the experimental group is significantly different from the control group in the YOYO test,50--trip run, spirometry, heart function index,one-minute skipping rope, and one-minute sit-up test indicators,Ie P <0.05.There was no significant change in the 50-meter running performance.Through the analysis of the test indicators of the experimental group before and after exercise, there are very-trip running, vital capacity and one-minute skipping, that is,P <0.001.Conclusion: Compared with conventional physical education and endurance training, adding YOYO training to physical education can effectively improve the cardiopulmonary function and muscle endurance of primary school students, which is conducive to the development of primary school students’ cardiac function.YOYO training has no obvious effect on primary school students’ anaerobic ability.
