With the wide acknowledgement of Healthy China Action Plan and rapid growth of National Fitness Campaign,more and more people have come to realize the significance of keeping fit,and the physical fitness of the disabled is of no exception.The fitness instructors of the disabled sports seemingly take more responsibilities in that they are responsible for helping the disabled recovering and giving professional fitness guidance.However,those instructors are facing a lot of difficulties due to the shortage of wide social support and the lack of professional skills.The research aims at analyzing the current situation of the instructors and the history of fitness instructors in China to explore the knowledge structure applicable to the post of sports fitness instructors for disabled people in China.Based on the detailed analysis of what knowledge and ability the physical fitness instructors for the disabled should acquire and the in-depth review of the related references,combining questionnaire investigation,interview and mathematical statistical analysis,the conclusions can be drawn as follows:(1)The construction of the fitness instructors for disabled people is behind the rapid need of the society.The research calls on more attention should be given to such post to help the disabled sports grow faster and better.As a matter of fact,multiple factors restrict the professional development of the fitness instructors.(2)More attention should be given to the full-around development of the fitness instructors for the disabled.Nowadays,public attention is only given to the particularity of the disabled and the lawful protection,neglecting the demand for practical skills.(3)The fitness instructors for disabled people prove to be short of professional skills;the factors accounting for that include gender ratio,age differentiation,and the level of education,working experience,and participation in training etc.(4)The five-dimensional knowledge and ability characteristics of sports fitness instructors for disabled persons are as follows:(1)Pay attention to the practicality of knowledge in work and the transformability of knowledge in practice;(2)There are significant differences in the degree of attention;(3)attach more emphasis to solving practical problems while neglecting improving ability of analyzing problems;(4)attach more emphasis to the accumulation of empirical knowledge while neglecting systematic knowledge learning.(5)A big gap still exists between China and the developed countries in terms of the development of the handicapped sports cause."American Standards for Adapting Sports","European Standards for Training Professional Sports Talents" and Japan’s training system for disabled sports instructors can probably provide a reference for the future development of Chinese disabled people sports fitness instructors.The conclusions that can be drawn are as follows :(1)Increase the government’s special fund support to promote the professional development of disabled people’s sports and fitness brake positions;(2)Establish a long-term training mechanism to enrich the professional knowledge structure of existing practitioners;(3)Establish a diversified training model Provide accurate services and improve service quality;(4)Adhere to the unity of reference and innovation,and promote the construction of a standard system for disabled people’s physical fitness instructors in China. |
