In the past two decades,research on occupational identity has received much attention at home and abroad,but there is still little research focused on vocational students。In view of this,based on the identity development theory,student development theory and career development theory,this paper adopts three scales of personality trait questionnaire,social support assessment scale and vocational identity questionnaire for vocational students.A total of634 vocational students conducted a questionnaire survey,and 12 students were selected for interviews.Through SPSS24.0,perform descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis,etc.on the data to discuss the status quo of personality traits,social support and professional identity of the vocational students and the relationship between the three,to understand and improve the occupation of the vocational students The formation path of identity,and the construction of the personality traits adjustment model,detailed analysis of the role of personality traits as adjustment variables on social support and professional identity.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The overall level of social support for vocational students is lower than the general level,and the development situation needs to be improved urgently.The overall level of personality traits and professional identity is higher than the general level,and there is room for improvement.(2)There are no significant differences in gender traits,social support and career identity status of vocational college students in terms of gender,and there are significant differences in grade factors and job presence factors.(3)The correlation among social support,personality traits and professional identity of vocational students is significant.Personality traits have a significant positive correlation with career identity,and neuroticism has a significant negative correlation with career identity.There is a significant positive correlation between social support and professional identity.Personality traits and social support have a significant positive relationship,of which neuroticism and occupational identity have a significant negative correlation.(4)Social support has a significant positive impact on professional identity.Objective support,subjective support,and utilization of support have three dimensions that affect professional identity to varying degrees.(5)The personality traits of vocational students play a positive role in regulating social support and professional identity.Neuroticism plays a negative regulatory role between social support and professional identity,and rigor,pleasantness,openness,and extroversion play a positive regulatory role between social support and professional identity.Finally,according to the analysis and conclusions of the survey results,the countermeasures and suggestions for the cultivation of vocational identity of vocational students from social support,personality traits,and vocational education system are proposed.
