| After the implementation of quality education in our country for many years,we found that both schools,parents,society and employers still attach great importance to the students’ achievements,and the selection examination is still the final result In order to cope with the current pressure of further studies and employment,many students take part in various extra-curricular tutoring on weekends and holidays in addition to their normal schooling in order to improve their academic performance and enter good universities.What positive effects can extracurricular counseling have?What are the negative effects?How do we straighten out the relationship between school education and extracurricular counseling?The author takes the junior high school students,teachers and parents of Y Middle School as the survey objects,conducts questionnaire survey and interview on the current situation of junior high school students’ extracurricular counseling,and makes data analysis on the survey results.The main motivation for students to participate in extra-curricular tutoring was found:to improve their academic performance.This paper analyzes the indirect reasons why students take part in extra-curricular tutoring:the pressure brought by high school entrance examination and college entrance examination.The main contradictions that need to be solved at present are discovered:1.The contradiction between burden reduction and examination-oriented education.2.Extra-curricular tutoring has increased students’ learning burden.3.Extra-curricular tutoring has increased the family’s financial burden.4.Extra-curricular tutoring exacerbates the inequality of educational resources.Finally,for the above problems,put forward relevant solutions:1.The school is still the main position of teaching,to give priority to classroom teaching,ask the classroom to be efficient 2.Call for diversified evaluation system and talent selection system.3.Promote parents to change their educational concepts. |
