With the increasing competition in modern society, parents attach great importance to their children’s education. Under the background of exam-oriented education, parents raise children’s academic achievement as the pinnacle of children education, especially in the first-tier and second-tier cities where school selection and enrollment. baton selection become more problems so as to high quality education resources imbalance and college entrance examination, remedial education demand is actually strong, which to a certain extent, promotes the development and prosperous of the market. Because of the tutoring institutions market characteristics and the lack of effective government regulation, cram markets became mixed, confused. The mess and the strong tutorial requirement of students and their parents form a huge contrast. On the one hand, the market needs a large number of education agencies which can provide normative enterprise operation, high quality educational services, elegant and comfortable environment. On the other hand, in a business context, many tutoring crams do not put it as a business to do, focus on long-term development, but investment and speculation, driven by commercial interests, the pursuit of short-term profits, the prices of services, service standards, service quality are worthy of consideration, the satisfaction of students and parents to the remedial crams is not high. Therefore, to guide the healthy development of cram institutions become the problem urgently to be solved.Based on the above analysis. I start from the current education problems in tutoring institutions in this article, cut from the nature of the positioning of the tutoring agencies to explore the value orientation of the tutorial institutions. I think that tutoring institutions have commercial and educational attributes, and the tutoring agencies need to combine the two in order to not only improve student achievement and promote students’ learning ability and overall quality of the development.On this basis, set the five core elements of the tutoring institutions’education characteristics by thinking of educational theory in private tuition agencies and comparison of similarities and differences between the education characteristics of schools and institutions, including interaction between teachers and students, communication, counseling, teaching ideas, and tracking services. I verify the core factors and perfect it through the importance of oriented education core factors of surveys among teachers and students in tutoring institutions. Based on these education core factors, I do a student satisfaction survey in the three representative type tutoring institutions in Nanjing. Finally, according to the survey results analysis, advise on the path choice of strengthening education characteristics of tuition institutions starting from the Government, guilds and associations, private tuition agencies, school levels, students and parents.
