| With the rapid development of information technology,learning has broken the boundaries of time and space.In the increasingly competitive network information era,traditional school education and learning can no longer meet people’s needs.The Open University is a new-type university,which is supported by modern information technology,and its network covers all regions in a three-dimensional way.The Open University provides a unique learning platform for learners,which basically enables everyone to learn,learn everywhere and learn from time to time.The study of Open University is mainly dominated by learners,but there are differences among learners in age,learning ability,knowledge reserve,working background and learning motivation,and the learning effect will vary from person to person.Therefore,it is especially important to study the individualized learning of Open University students.This study selects XX Radio and Television University as a case,and explores the status quo of individualized learning of students through questionnaires and interviews.The research results found that:(1)From the perspective of students’ structure,through the investigation and analysis of students’ gender,age,educational level,work situation and economic income,it is concluded that the school is faced with the problems of declining quality of students,prominent contradiction between work and study,and insufficient individualized learning ability of students.(2)Analyze the individualized learning motivation of Open University students and the reasons that influence students’ individualized learning motivation,and it is concluded that students’ individualized learning motivation is deficient and the learning self-control is weak.(3)Analyze from the teaching platform and the individualized learning resources of Open University students,and investigate the students’ satisfaction with the stability of the network teaching platform,the information service of the network teaching platform and the learning resources on the network teaching platform.The results show that school did not create a good individualized learning environment for students,and the supply of learning resources was not rich enough.(4)Analyze from the faculty leveland the interaction of individualized learning of the students,investigate the students’ satisfaction with the teacher team,the length of time the students wait for the teacher to solve the problem,the interaction between the teachers and students,and it is found that the teachers in this school need to be rectified,the interaction between teachers and students is insufficient,and the teachers lack of responsibility.Based on the above research findings,in order to better carry out individualized learning,ensure the quality of individualized learning of students,and improve their learning efficiency,this study proposes countermeasures for individualized learning of open university students: First,schools should improve the individualized learning environment and create a good learning atmosphere.Schools should build a learning environment based on student characteristics,optimize learning resources,meet the needs of students,strengthen teaching management and supervision,and ensure the orderly conduct of teaching activities.Second,teachers should enhance their sense of responsibility and improve professional quality.Teachers should participate in research and training,improve their own quality,actively interact with students,and provide guidance and help for students.Third,students should correct their learning attitude and improve their individualized learning ability.Students should change their learning concepts,enhance their internal learning motivation,break through themselves,and improve their individualized learning ability. |
