| The purpose of this study is to understand whether Social Responsibility aspects have an influence on parent’s decision for a private early education center.The design method and the defined approach was a questionnaire answered by 128 respondents(81 Brazilians and 47 Chinese).The findings were that respondents practice social responsibility actions in a daily basis and value Social Responsible private schools,however are not willing to spend additional money to have SR aspects within the School’s curriculum.Practical implications of this study are this study deepened the discussion on how Social Responsibility impacts or can impacts Private Early Education Schools and the parents when choosing a school for their children.From the school’s perspective,the study provided insights for the school’s manager on how parents in China and Brazil behave upon social responsibility aspects.This is a very relevant topic and is on the world’s agenda and this study brings an applied approach to the universe of early childhood education. |
