| The structural and coordinated development of population and economy is the goal pursued by countries and regions.In 2018,Xining City only used less than 5% of the land area of Qinghai Province to carry 40% of Qinghai’s population and nearly45% of Qinghai’s economic total.The first place in Qinghai Province became more and more obvious.Xining City’s economy in the entire Qinghai Province Radiation and population attraction are more prominent.It is very urgent to study the structural time-space coupling relationship between population and economic development in Xining.The theoretical support of the thesis is based on human geography,regional economy,population geography,economic geography,geographic information system and other subject knowledge.The information entropy,gray correlation degree,economic location entropy,comprehensive development index and coupling degree model are used as the mathematical methods of the thesis.Using the statistical data of Xining City and three counties in four districts from 2001 to 2018,the sixth national census data and two population sampling data in 2005 and 2015,through SPSS,EXCEL,ARCGIS and other analysis software,the population structure and economy of Xining City were analyzed.The development status is analyzed,and the weighted value calculated by the information entropy is used to construct an evaluation system of the coupling relationship between population structure and economic development.To study the spatial-temporal coupling relationship between the population structure and economic development of Xining City and explore its mechanism,aiming to provide a research basis for Xining City Government to make population and economic decision-making.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Xining’s population structure is becoming more reasonable,and the urbanization process is accelerating.Aging continues to intensify,and the demographic dividend for economic development remains significant.The economic and population quality of the main urban area is significantly better than that of the three-county area,and the polarization effect in the west of the city is most obvious.(2)The population structure and economicdevelopment of Xining City have 196 coupling correlation values,and the average coupling correlation is 0.655,which is a relatively high coupling correlation;the highest values of PCDI and ECDI in Xining City both appear in Chengxi District,and the lowest values appear in Huangyuan County.(3)The time-series coupling value of the population structure and economic development of Xining City from 2001 to 2018 is between 0.1654-0.8456,and its coupling degree continues to rise with time.In terms of district and county space,there are three types of district and county space in the coupling degree of Xining’s population structure and economic development in2018,Huangyuan County has an antagonistic coupling degree,Huangzhong and Datong counties have a running-in coupling degree,the four districts of Chengdong Chengdong Chengbei and Chengzhong are of high level coupling degree.The highest coupling degree is 0.8456 in Chengxi District,and the lowest coupling degree is0.3189 in Huangyuan County.The coupling degree has spatial differences among districts and counties.(4)The coupling mechanism of Xining’s population structure and economic development is more complicated.According to the coupling and correlation values of the two,industrial personnel,labor force,urbanization rate,level of higher education and regional GDP,total social retail sales,tertiary output,per capita GDP and other indicators have a positive impact on Xining’s population structure and economic development.The coupling effect is more obvious.Other demographic and economic development structural factors have little effect on the degree of coupling between the two.According to the results of the research,put forward relevant suggestions and countermeasures. |
