A Study On Coupling Degree Of Between Population Structure And Economic Development In Sichuan Province

After entering the 10 s of the 21 st century,China's population has structural and trendy changes,such as the decline of the natural population growth rate,the reduction of the working-age population,the coexistence of the decline birthrate and aging,the improvement of the cultural quality and so on.Under the background of advocating the concept of sustainable development,the degree of population structure development affects the development of regional economy,and the development of regional economy also affects the regional population structure.At present,most of the scholars take the whole country as the research object,but few take the regional research.Although some scholars take the northeast and eastern areas as the research object,there are few studies on the western areas,so this paper will take Sichuan Province as the research object.Firstly,this paper analyses the present situation of population structure in Sichuan Province and 21 areas,and finds that the overall development level of population structure in Sichuan Province is not high,and there are obvious differences in the development of the regional population structure.Secondly,the grey relational analysis method is used to analyze the correlation factors between population structure and economic development in Sichuan Province.It is found that the urban-rural structure,cultural structure and age structure of population have effects on economic development.Furthermore,with the help of coupling function in physics,constructs the coupling coordination degree model between the population structure and economic development.In general,the coordination degree is on the rise,from primary coordination to well coordination during20001-2016.From the point of view of 21 cities and states,there are some differences in the coordination degree between regional population structure and economic development in Sichuan Province.The polarization of coordination types is serious.The coupling coordination degree between population structure and economic development in Chengdu is obviously better than that in other regions.However,the coupling coordination degree between population structure and economic development in traditional backward areas such as Ganzi and Liangshan is relativelypoor.Finally,according to the results of empirical analysis,four policy recommendations are put forward:(1)expanding employment channels,continuing the demographic dividend and actively responding to the changes of population age structure;(2)optimizing population urban-rural structure and coordinating urban-rural integration;(3)increasing investment in human capital and optimizing population cultural structure;(4)grasping the direction of industrial development and promoting population employment structure and production.The coordinated development of industrial structure promotes the coordinated development of population structure and economy.
