The main task of secondary vocational education is to train highly qualified workers and technically skilled personnel with comprehensive vocational skills to work on the production and service fronts.To achieve this goal,while doing a good job of theoretical teaching,secondary vocational schools should also actively promote practical teaching.Only through practical teaching can students exercise hands-on ability and operational ability,link theory and practice,and cultivate a higher comprehensive quality.In order to improve the quality of practical teaching in vocational education,the State Council puts forward a number of initiatives in the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan released in February 2019,and the document highlights the importance of practical teaching in vocational education.Practical teaching on campus,as an important part of practical teaching,plays a vital role in the development of practical skills of students.In the face of the policy requirements and the market demand for technically skilled accounting talents,this paper investigates the current situation and further analyzes the problems and causes of practical teaching on campus of accounting major in X secondary vocational school.In response to the specific problems and causes found in the survey,paths are proposed to optimize practical teaching on campus of accounting major in X secondary vocational school.In this paper,through questionnaires and interviews,it was found that there are problems in the teaching objectives,teaching subject,teaching condition,teaching organization process in the practical teaching on campus of accounting major in X secondary vocational school.The specific manifestations are: first,ambiguous positioning of practical teaching objectives;second,lack of practical experience of teachers;third,low motivation of students in the process of participating practical teaching on campus;fourth,inadequate construction of practical teaching places on campus;fifth,simplification of practical teaching contents on campus;sixth,single means and methods of practical teaching on campus;seventh,unscientific evaluation of learning outcomes,etc.Based on the problems found and the reasons for their formation,seven paths are proposed to optimize practical teaching on campus of accounting major in X secondary vocational school: first,to improve the examination system and clarify the objectives of practical teaching on campus;second,to improve teacher training and access mechanisms,and increase teachers’ practical experience;third,to promote tripartite collaboration to increase students’ learning motivation;fourth,to strengthen the construction of practical teaching places on campus;fifth,to innovate teaching means and methods;sixth,to enrich the teaching content in accordance with the demands of the job;seventh,to promote the establishment of evaluation system and promote the scientific evaluation.
