The Accounting major in the Secondary Vocational School is the platform where the talents of Finance and Economics with applied abilities are developed.Through classroom teaching and practical teaching,such elementary professional talents as accounting checkers?the bank tellers?cashiers?statisticians and salespersons.They are the talents will all round development in moral ? intelligence ? sports ?aesthetics and labor education.On the one hand,the accounting principles should be mastered in order to meet the needs of daily work and promotion.On the other hand,the practical abilities should be prepared for the employers.Accounting is the applied subject with specialty and technology.It is difficult to develop the professional competence and occupation quality of students while teaching Accounting.The practical teaching system is a breakthrough of Accounting teaching.Many works?papers and research reports on the practical teaching of Accounting from journals?books?newspapers and network have been collected.The current situation and reasons of Accounting teaching in the secondary vocational school have been analyzed.So many investigations have been made.I sort out and analyze the questionnaires.I know better about the teaching objective?teaching design ? teaching system and the teaching evaluation.The counter measures have been gotten.Practical teaching is not only the key to improve teaching qualities but also plays an important role in developing application abilities.But the practical teaching of Accounting in the Secondary Vocational Schoolis not satisfying.There are so many problems in vocational training.So I make a survey in the Secondary Vocational School of Changsha.Many Accounting teachers and students in Accounting Major offer me the answers.The organization of campus practice and outside-school practice,the effect and evaluation of practical teaching ? the construction of teaching resource and social support for practical teaching have been investigated.The status of practical teaching of Accounting Major in the Secondary Vocational School has been known better.Some problems have been found such as unreasonable arrangements of time ? the imperfect construction of off-campus practice bases?the bad practical teaching effect ? the lack of teaching skills and practical abilities of teachers and the false cooperation between school and enterprise.The causes of the problems are these: Firstly,students don't realize the importance of practical teaching.Secondly,teachers have few chances to practice their major.Thirdly,schools spend little money on practical teaching.Fourthly,the policy and law have little effect on the practical teaching.Then practical teaching hasn't completely received by some enterprise and the authoritative evaluation hasn't appeared.So some suggestions on the practical teaching of Accounting Major in the secondary vocational shool have been such as improving the rules ?building some training bases ? developing excellent “Double-qualified Teacher” and optimizing the teaching procedures?Optimize the practical teaching process of accounting major in Secondary Vocational School.
