Family and school are the two most important systems in the process of socialization of students.For a long time,family has been mainly responsible for raising children,while school has been responsible for educating students.The two systems,family and school,have long been in a state of division of labor,not interfering with each other.Life and education have also become separate social affairs,With the continuous development of education and the increasing demand for education,new educational concepts such as "education is life" and "home-school cooperation" have been gradually accepted by the public.Family and school are also gradually moving towards integration.Nowadays,with the gradual participation of families in educational activities,the interaction between families and schools is more and more close.However,frequent communication and interaction also bring more collisions and conflicts.The two sides of family and school often have different views on education,leaving students at a loss as to what to do under the influence of two kinds of education.It not only has a great impact on school education and teaching,which is not conducive to the educational effect of students,but also,as a microcosm of the tense social relations,is not conducive to the construction of a harmonious society,which is inconsistent with the original intention of the educational system reform.Especially in predominantly migrant children school,the students also poses a conflict of the complexity of the complexity of the structure,trailing the child’s parents often conflicts with school education concepts,methods,difficult to form effective home school education cooperation,lead to the school education is difficult,students education effect is not ideal,teaching order is difficult to be effectively maintained.Therefore,in order to correctly understand the concept of home-school education conflict,and then build a good home-school cooperation,promote social harmony,it’s necessary to explore what aspects of educational concept conflicts exist between home and school,what are the specific manifestations,causes and generating mechanism.This study used qualitative research methods such as interview and observation to investigate Jiangmen Primary School—a primary school for migrant workers’ children— in M City.Through the analysis of the interview data of 41 teachers and parents of the school,and combined with the theory of functionalism conflict and ecosystem theory,this paper makes an in-depth research and analysis on the types,causes and mechanisms of the conflict in the concept of home-school education.This study finds that the conflict of educational concepts in home schools for migrant workers’ children is mainly caused by the word "guan".The conflict mainly focuses on three aspects: the issue of responsibility for education,the issue of educational punishment,and the problem of educational training mode.The reason lies in the cognitive differences between home and school in the attribution of educational responsibility,the lack of clear power norms of educational punishment,and the differences in educational value orientation.The generation mechanism of educational concept conflict has Multilayered morphological characteristics,which is caused by multiple factors including the difference of subject cognition at the micro level,the imperfect school management system at the middle level,and the difference of stratum at the macro level.This study has a certain universality in the study of the conflicts in similar schools,and provides reference value for comprehensively understanding the conflicts in the concept of home-school education and further thinking about the construction of harmonious home-school relationship.
