Accounting major of the secondary vocational school has provided a large number of skilled talents and laborers for the operation and development of China’s SMEs.Under the background of economic development,social progress,and technological innovation,how does the vocational accounting major meet the needs of employers for professionals who are proficient in accounting practice skills? This issue points the way for the current vocational accounting major teaching practice and reform.The improvement of the education quality of secondary vocational accounting major is inseparable from the most basic classroom teaching.Ensuring the quality of classroom teaching and improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching are necessary conditions for training high-quality accounting professionals.For this reason,this article takes the concept of effective teaching as the starting point,explores and analyzes the basic framework and specific indicators of the effectiveness of classroom teaching in "Basic Accounting" based on policy documents such as "Accounting Teaching Standards for Secondary Vocational Schools(Trial)","Professional Standards for Teachers of Secondary Vocational Schools(Trial)",and the characteristics of teaching in secondary vocational accounting majors,and uses research methods such as questionnaire surveys,individual interviews,and classroom observations,and selects the core curriculum of secondary vocational accounting major "Basic Accounting",and selects a secondary vocational school in Hebei Province to carry out investigation.From the perspective of teachers’ classroom teaching and students’ learning results,it reflects the current status of the Basic Accounting classroom teaching,and analyzes and judges the effectiveness,probes into the reasons leading to the deficiencies of classroom teaching effectiveness,and proposes countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching of “Basic Accounting”.This article includes the following five parts.The first chapter includes the research background and research significance,and introduces the research status and frontier dynamics at home and abroad,and defines the core concepts.Chapter 2 specifically elaborates the national standards on the teaching of secondary vocational accounting majors and teachers’ work.On the basis of summarizing the research results of effective teaching standards,based on the characteristics of secondary vocational classroom teaching,this article explores and analyzes the basic framework for the effectiveness of classroom teaching in Basic Accounting,and introduces the content of the framework.Chapter 3 is based on teaching practice,explores the deficiencies in teaching effectiveness,and points out the students ’learning foundation and learning habits,teachers’ teaching concepts and enthusiasm for participating in teaching reform,students’ academic performance evaluation system and the teaching quality evaluation system developed by the school and teacher training opportunities provided by the school restrict the improvement of teaching effectiveness.Chapter 4 puts forward specific suggestions for improving the current classroom teaching and improving its effectiveness.Chapter 5 is the summary of this article.
