Human has different levels of needs.They will be frustrated to varying degrees if needs are not satisfied.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the needs,and use it as a logical starting point to carry out frustration education for college students.The application of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in college students’ frustration education is not only the need to meet the psychological needs of college students,but also to enrich the content and enhance the effectiveness of frustration education,and to realize the people-centered development thinking in colleges and universities.In the perspective of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs,the study of frustration education shifts the focus to the needs of college students at different levels.Meeting the needs of different levels of college students can not only find the cause of frustration and achieve the effect of frustration prevention,but also enhance the level of college students’ needs and promote the comprehensive development of college students.This paper is divided into four parts.The introduction points out the reason for choosing the topic and the significance of the research,sorts out domestic and foreign research reviews,clarifies the research methods and innovations;the second part summarizes the basic theories of frustration education for college students from the perspective of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs,explains the main content of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs,clarifies the relationship between Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and college students’ frustration education,and indicates the significance;the third part obtains first-hand information through the questionnaire survey,explains with the combination of charts and text,summarizes both the achievements and problems of frustration education,and analyzes the reasons;the fourth part proposes practical and feasible countermeasures from frustration education goals,contents,methods,and environments to meet the needs of university students’ growth and provides talent guarantee for the training of socialist builders who have comprehensive development of moral,intellectual,physical,art,and labor.
