After the implementation of the "Comprehensive Two Children" policy in 2016,the annual birth rate in Guiyang City had a clear upward trend compared with before the implementation of the policy. In addition, the proportion of the number of second-child births in Guiyang City had also increased after the implementation of the "comprehensive two-child" policy year by year.In the context of the looser national fertility policy, more and more families in Guiyang have moved from their original one-child families to non-one-child families. However, for these families that suddenly changed their status, when facing the situation that comes with them, some families were at a loss.In order to explore the needs of these families and the solutions to the problems, this article analyzed them based on the family.In-depth interviews, conducted a questionnaire survey of 150 households, took 5 households as interviewees, and finally based on family life cycle theory, role conflict theory, and social support theory, using a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to understand " A series of changes in the family concept, family structure and function, and family relationship during the transition from a one-child family to a non-one-child family in the era of the "two-child".It is hoped that this study can arouse widespread concern about the family problems of the new two-child family, and also provide a decision-making reference for timely avoiding new family problems that may arise. This article mainly discussed from six parts, starting from the four aspects of family concept, family structure and function, and family relationship,in order to explore the changes and needs of Guiyang City from the one-child family to the non-one-child family. The survey found that,in terms of family concepts, parents were more equal and democratic in terms of treating their children, emphasizing love and companionship, and the concept of equality between men and women was more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. After the second child, the family was more eager to save;In terms of family structure and family function, there were fewer family generations, and the proportion of households had remained basically the same. After the second child, the family’s reproductive function, consumption function, emotional satisfaction function, and educational function for children in the early stages of the family were increasing, but the family’s support function and leisure function were weakening. In terms of family relationships, the traditional patriarchal influence was gradually weakening.Men began to participate in child care work and family affairs. The line between patrilineal and matrilineal was not so clear, and the family relationship was more complicated. At the end of the article,it was clarified that families with two children had created needs for social welfare, childcare institutions, and living space, and called on the society to give these families some support, and the community can give family relationships because of the second child.Families that bring change must be help, and it also was recommended that individuals can appropriately change their minds, pay attention to personal re-education,formulate a more reasonable long-term family economic plan, and create a good family communication atmosphere to achieve stable and harmonious development of the family.
