One third of the families are only child family in China, and the number is increasing quickly in the forty years. One child make family presents the characteristics of miniaturization. The miniaturization changes the traditional family mode such as "Big clan" or "Big family". The right concentration becomes the Common characteristics of only child family. As time changes, It gradually changed the endowment concept of the Chinese parents, which is that pension support is no longer the consensus of Chinese parents.The only child family parents concern about pension problem under the serious aging population situation. How do urban only child undertake the pension burden for parents in a busy work and daily life? How do urban only child parents deal with the future severe endowment risk? How does government deal with the old-age security and social stability of one third family parents in future? As more and more only child families in urban areas become empty nest family. The series of problems not only relates to the happiness of hundreds of millions of people, but also bring social instability. The author investigates 298 families of Digang Road community by questionnaire survey and case interview, which include urban only child family and urban non-only child family. The investigation content mainly focuses on the differences of the two kinds of family about endowment demand, pension mode, pension burden etc. The author analyzes deeply into the impact of urban only child family pension, such as the income of parents and children, marriage status, working condition and other factors. And try to found the problem and explore the reasons about the problems of urban only child family endowment. The author hope to reflect the problems of present China’s urban only child family pension and put forward the positive opinion to alleviate the serious situation of the current Chinese urban only-child family endowment.The content mainly includes the following four aspects:The first chapter is introduction. It elaborates the research background and research significance of this article. This chapter also introduces the population policies, such as domestic and overseas pension mode research status, the research mentality and relative basic theory. The second chapter describes the basic situation of only child families in urban areas. It mainly elaborates the concept of urban only child, forming background, main features and population size. The third chapter introduces the basic information of Digang Road community.It introduces the method, place and time of the survey, and describes the basic situation and the characteristics of the family. In forth chapter, the author wants to find out the difference of endowment between current urban only child family and non-only child family. And the author concretely analyzes the different endowment results of different families. The fifth chapter, the author summarizes the main pension problems of urban only child family in Digang Road community. It mainly includes economic, life care, spirit, etc. And the author analyzes the reasons of urban only child family pension problems. In the seventh Chapter, the author puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to the urban only child family endowment predicament in Digang Road community.
