| Since the reform and opening up,population urbanization and the evolution of urban spatial structure have been the core issues of urban geography.Kashgar’s urbanization process is at an accelerated development stage, with the city scope expanding and the population increasing rapidly. This paper analyzes the spatial evolution of population in Kashgar by conducting field surveys of residents in Kashgar under the dual structure of urban and rural areas.Based on survey questionnaires, combined with census data and statistical yearbook data,it uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The spatial structure caused by growth and residents ’fertility desire may be changed. The characteristics of the spatial structure and evolution of the population in the region and the characteristics of fertility changes are analyzed.Further in-depth analysis. This thesis is divided into 6 parts. The first part is the introduction.Introduce the research background, purpose and significance of this research, research content and methods, related research progress, definition of relevant concepts, etc.;the second part is the overview of the research area, theoretical basis and data sources, mainly elaborating the overview of the research area, the theoretical basis of the paper The core ideas and their application in this thesis; The third part studies the spatial structure of Kashgar ’s population, summarizing the temporal changes and laws of population growth in Kashi City and different circles, the distribution and evolution of population and the characteristics of spatial differentiation;Chapter IV Analysis of the birth desire and influencing factors of residents in Kashi City.Using questionnaire survey data to explain their fertility wishes and current situation, using a multiple logistic regression model to analyze the relationship between fertility wishes and influencing factors;the fifth part mainly discusses the evolution of Kashgar ’s population spatial structure and influencing factors, and clarifies the path of fertility wishes influence;Chapter 6 Conclusion and Prospect. The main conclusions of the paper are summarized. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The population of Kashi City has a high-low-high population pattern under the background of China’s population policy, but the population growth momentum is slowly decreasing. The spatial structure of the population has the characteristic of a single center structure, which extends concentrically outward from the old city center. The urban population densitycontinues to decline with increasing distance, and the distribution is uneven among different regions.Different ethnic groups have obvious spatial differences in gender, age, and hukou nature, and there is also the phenomenon of native villages in cities.(2)A survey on the impact of the fertility desire and spatial distribution of the population in Kashgar found that, whether in the center of Kashgar or in the periphery, the ideal number of children for residents is the highest among two children, which is highly consistent with the domestic two-child policy; As far as gender preference is concerned,Kashgar residents have a dual preference for both gender and children(both children and children)and no gender preference(indifferent to the gender of their children). They have gradually become the mainstream of Kashgar residents ’ willingness to give birth. In terms of influencing factors, the survey shows that the birth Willingness is affected by multiple factors such as ethnicity, age, occupation, policy, and individual will. Therefore, fertility desires dominate the spatial structure of the population in Kashgar, which in turn affects the urban spatial structure.(3)Through investigation and data analysis,it is found that natural population growth and government-led administrative division adjustment are the most important influencing factors that lead to the migration and spatial redistribution of population in Kashgar. The population growth and distribution are closely related to the fertility desire, which is an important driving force for the future evolution of urban spatial structure.Based on the fertility wishes of the survey sample residents, this article examines the impact of fertility wishes on the spatial structure of the population in Kashgar from the perspective of the center of the population. It is believed that fertility wishes can be improved from the five dimensions of region, age, ethnicity, gender, and household registration. The five mechanisms of lag effect, reduction effect, decision effect and equilibrium effect indirectly affect the formation and evolution of the spatial structure of the population in Kashgar. |
