Since the reform and opening up,China’s industrialization and urbanization have ushered in a rapid development stage, which has led to constant changes in the labor market structure.Rural labor force has gradually transferred to urban secondary and tertiary industries. The "implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy"proposed by the 19th national congress calls for the overall revitalization of the secondary and tertiary industries in rural areas, further promoting the transfer of rural labor force to non-agricultural industries. With the development of science and technology, the productivity of agriculture continues to improve. The transfer of rural surplus labor to non-agricultural industries is not only the economic phenomenon in a long period of time, but also the key to solve the "three rural" problem. The non-agricultural employment of rural labor force not only accelerates the further development of urbanization rate in China, but also plays an important role in improving the income of farmers, reducing the income gap between urban and rural areas and optimizing the economic structure.Based on the micro data and CHIP2013 rural household survey data, this paper studies the influencing factors of rural labor non-agricultural employment. On the basis of summarizing the existing theoretical research and literature, firstly, according to the definition of the research object, the paper processes the data of CHIP2013 rural household survey and determines the final research sample.Secondly, according to the content of the study, the basic characteristics of the sample are analyzed by descriptive statistics. Finally, using the binary logit model, from the individual characteristics, family factors, social capital and regional characteristics of a total of 13 variables, this paper quantitatively studies the influencing factors of rural labor non-agricultural employment, analyzes the direction and degree of the influence of variables on the decision-making of rural labor non-agricultural employment, and draws the relevant conclusions and policy recommendations of this paper.Through empirical research and literature theory research, this paper draws the following conclusions:firstly, rural labor individual’s human capital, such as good health, higher education level,is more conducive to promoting their non-agricultural employment.Secondly, the area of family land has an important impact on the non-agricultural employment of rural labor force, and the area of agricultural land has a restraining effect on the non-agricultural employment of rural labor force.Third, the accumulation of social capital and the complexity of social network are more conducive to the non-agricultural employment of rural labor force.Fourth, areas with economic advantages are more conducive to the non-agricultural employment of rural labor.According to the conclusion of the study, the following suggestions are put forward:firstly, strengthen the development of rural education and vocational skills training.Secondly, improve the rural land transfer system.Third, strengthen the development of rural medical, cultural and pension institutions and other public facilities services.Fourth, promote the construction of public employment service platform.Fifth,we will vigorously develop and optimize the economic industries in the backward areas of the central and western regions. The innovation of this paper lies in the selection of variables, mainly in the following two points:firstly, the selection of social capital variables. In the past, most of the studies focused on whether the individual labor force was the rural cadre as the proxy variable of social capital, and lacked the study of other family members. This paper takes whether the family has township cadres and whether the labor force has gone out to work as the proxy variable of social capital, which can fully express the social capital accumulated by the individual rural labor force and the deep grey network relationship.Secondly, the selection of family income variables. In this paper, the logarithm of per capita disposable income in 2012 is taken as the proxy variable of family income variable. On the one hand,it solves the endogenous problem. On the other hand,it can solve the problem that the marginal effect of regression results is not obvious due to the wide range of data changes of this variable,so as to understand the specific impact of income on non-agricultural employment decision-making of rural labor force.
