Research On The Spatial And Temporal Distribution Characteristics Of Chinese Elite Women Volleyball Players

Volleyball,as one of the "three big balls" in our country,is the only sport that can rush out of Asia to the world and achieve brilliant results.It is one of the powerful gold-winning items in our country at present.On September 29,2019,the Chinese women’s volleyball team won the World Cup champion with 11 consecutive wins,becoming the "ten champions" of the three major world competitions.This study mainly explores the characteristics of the space-time distribution of Chinese elite female volleyball players,discovers certain internal laws,provides relevant basis for the scientific selection of Chinese female volleyball players,optimizes the distribution of female volleyball players’ talent resources,and improves the level of Chinese women’s volleyball competition and the overall development level of volleyball.It is also expected that this can provide some reference for other sports and promote the overall prosperity of China’s sports.This paper mainly uses the methods of spatial analysis and mathematical statistics to analyze the space-time distribution characteristics of female volleyball players who won the title of sport master and international sport master from 2005 to 2019.The research conclusions are as follows:1.A total of 667 women’s volleyball athletes will be awarded from 2005 to 2019,including 37 international athletes.The changing characteristics of the number of excellent women’s volleyball players in China are as follows: the number of elite women’s volleyball players shows an obvious increasing trend;On the contrary,the number of women’s volleyball international athletes increased slowly;The growth trend of athletes is obviously larger than that of international athletes,and the change range is larger.2.From the perspective of provinces and cities,most of the excellent women’s volleyball players in China are concentrated in coastal cities,and the spatial distribution is characterized by "bow".Among them,Jiangsu,Liaoning,Shandong and Beijing have a large number of excellent women’s volleyball players,belonging to the first level;Shanghai,Tianjin,Fujian and Henan are in the second level;Zhejiang,Sichuan and Hebei belong to the third level;Guangdong and Yunnan are in the fourth level;The number of excellent women’s volleyball teams in Shanxi,Chongqing,Gansu and other provinces and cities is less,which is in the fifth level.3.In terms of the three zones,the number of excellent women’s volleyball players in the eastern region is absolutely dominant,followed by the central region,and finally the western region,showing a decline from the eastern region to the western region as a whole.4.From the perspective of eight regions,the northern and eastern coastal areas have obvious advantages compared with other areas and are in the first echelon;In the southern coastal area,the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River,the northeast and the southwest,the percentage of women’s volleyball players in these four areas is less than 5%,which is in the second echelon;The third echelon is the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and Northwest China.5.From 2005 to 2019,the average age of Chinese women’s volleyball players to reach the level of master athletes: on the whole,the average age of winning the prize is on the decline and tends to be younger;There are differences in the award-winning age of Chinese Elite Women’s volleyball players in different age groups.The number of 17-21 years old is the largest,accounting for 76.5%,occupying a monopoly position;The second group was 22-24 years old,accounting for 11.4%;The award-winning age group of 13-16 years old was the third,accounting for 8.2%;The award-winning age group of 25-31 years old was the last,accounting for about 3.9%.The average winning age of women’s volleyball players in the three zones is different,the middle zone(20.14 years old)> the eastern zone(19.53 years old)> the Western Zone(19.53 years old).The results show that the reasons for the significant differences in the geographical distribution of the elite volleyball players in China include the related policy guidance,natural geographical environment,economic development level,historical evolution and other factors,which jointly affect and restrict the development of the sports volleyball in China.According to the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward:1.In view of the uneven distribution of outstanding women volleyball athletes in all provinces and regions,we should strengthen the exchange and cooperation among different regions,provide technical exchanges and technical exchanges among excellent talents,learn from each other,learn from each other,make up for the shortcomings and narrow the gap.2.According to the characteristics of volleyball events,a scientific selection system has gradually been formed.The research found that the age of female volleyball players in China is about 17 to 21 years.After several years of scientific sports training,they will reach the highest level,become international athletes and contribute to the development of Chinese competitive volleyball.For selecting female volleyball players,the mature age should be considered.3.Increase the investment in sports,ensure the sustainable development of volleyball,and the investment of sports funds is the material basis for the development of volleyball sports.4.In the areas where volleyball projects are developing slowly,relevant policies should be formulated to promote the development of volleyball in the area and accumulate excellent reserve talents for them.
