With the development of society and the progress of the times,the healthy development of children is placed in the primary position of family,school and society.Social withdrawal is one of the common internalization problem behaviors,which has a lot of adverse effects on children’s social interaction and even the future physical and mental development.This study takes three children in a kindergarten in Jinan as the intervention objects,using the methods of literature,questionnaire survey,observation and interview,to understand the communication situation,emotional management and daily behavior of children in kindergarten and family,summarize the characteristics of each child’s social withdrawal,and analyze the influencing factors that may lead to children’s social withdrawal.Then,according to the withdrawal characteristics of t hree different types of social withdrawal children,the intervention programs based on picture book reading,picture book performance,picture book game,picture book painting and picture book continuation and creation are worked out to carry out purposeful and planned intervention on the three types of social withdrawal children.Finally,the intervention results were evaluated by questionnaire survey,teacher evaluation,parents evaluation and researcher observation.Our research found that the intervention with picture books as the carrier can stimulate the initiative of children’s communication,help children master more communication skills and improve the quality of communication.At the same time,the intervention with picture books as the carrier can provide more communication opportunities for children,expand the scope of children’s communication and increase the frequency of communication.In addition,there are some differences in the improvement effect of picture book intervention on three types of social withdrawal children.The active withdrawal children mainly show the change of communication motivation,and the awareness of active communication with peers is significantly improved;the silent children mainly show the change of emotion,from timidity and anxiety,to courage and calm;the passive withdrawal children are mainly shown in the improvement of behavior,aggressive behavior significantly reduced.Finally,according to the research conclusions,we put forward the corresponding education suggestions: to create a good picture book reading environment for children with social withdrawal and improve their communication awareness;to provide children with social withdrawal with the opportunity to continue and create picture books and improve their communication skills;to actively carry out picture book games to improve children’s rule awareness and regulate their communication behavior;In order to make use of picture book drawing activities,let the social withdrawal children reasonably vent their emotions and relieve their psychological pressure;organize picture book performance activities to stimulate the social withdrawal children’s interest in communication and improve their active communication ability.
