Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,my country’s pension insurance system has undergone many reforms, has been continuously improved, and achieved worldrenowned achievements. However, with the increasing aging of the population, fertility and mortality rates continue to "double down",and the demographic structure is becoming increasingly unbalanced,my country’s pension insurance system is facing unprecedented challenges and tests. At the same time, over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,my country has formed a huge wave of rural-urban population migration in the process of economic and social transformation. This wave of rural-urban population migration has become the main source of my country’s urban population growth, accounting for more than50%,and showing a trend of increasing year by year. How will such a large-scale "ruralurban" net migration affect the age structure of the urban and rural population? Will it help alleviate the impact of an aging population? In addition, what impact does this have on the financial sustainability of my country’s basic pension insurance fund? Forward or reverse? What is the degree of impact? How to ensure the long-term balance of income and expenditure of the basic pension insurance fund amidst the dramatic changes in the population structure? Therefore,it is necessary to explore the impact of rural-urban population migration on the basic pension insurance for urban enterprise employees(hereinafter referred to as "basic pension insurance").Therefore, this article will build a subregional population development model and an actuarial balance model of the basic pension insurance fund to calculate the population age structure and basic pension insurance revenue and expenditure of my country from 2018 to 2060,and then discuss the impact of rural-urban population migration on the demographic structure and basic pension insurance fund. The impact of actuarial balance. There are five chapters in this article: The first chapter mainly introduces the research background and significance of this article, summarizes the current research situation at home and abroad, and analyzes the research methods and innovations of this article. The second chapter elaborates the history and status quo of rural-urban population migration and the development process and operating status of the basic pension insurance system in China, and analyzes the impact mechanism of the rural-urban population net migration on the balance of urban basic pension insurance funds. The third chapter analyzes the evolution of China’s population structure and the impact of rural-urban population migration on my country’s future population structure based on the calculation results. The fourth chapter mainly explores how to maintain the long-term balance of income and expenditure of the basic pension insurance fund for urban employees from a quantitative perspective, which is the core of this article. The fifth chapter mainly contains two parts: research conclusions and policy recommendations. The research results show that the essence of rural-urban population migration is to provide demographic dividends to urban areas by transferring population liabilities to rural areas;the risk of rapid increase in fund expenditure due to population aging is a systemic risk and cannot be achieved through population migration. To disperse. In addition,in the short term,rural-urban population migration has a positive effect on the balance of basic pension insurance;but in the long run,rural-urban population migration has a negative inhibitory effect on the balance of basic pension insurance.Fund revenue and expenditure Imbalances are inevitable. Therefore, relevant departments should make full use of the positive effects of the migrant population, reasonably avoid the "side effects" of the migrant population, and take multiple measures as soon as possible to ensure the sustainability of the pension insurance system.
