A Study On The Cultivation Of Innovativeness And Entrepreneurship Of Secondary Vocational School Students

With the country’s economic development and social progress,innovative talents in science and technology are now in great demand throughout the society.Vocational colleges,as the cradle of the country’s high-skilled talents,should keep up with the pace of the times,update educational concepts,,reform the training mode of talents,and incorporate the education of innovative and entrepreneurial talents for the society into the teaching system.At present,the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship in secondary vocational schools is just at its initial stage.It should therefore answer the national call of "Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation” and implement innovation and entrepreneurship education into basic education.Based on the theories of educational management,public management choice and the learning pyramid,this paper summarized literature related to the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship at home and abroad.By using the methods of literature review,case analysis,interview and investigation,this paper analyzed and summarized the current situation of the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship of students at Hangzhou Technician College.Through the analysis of the cases of students participating in the National Competition of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and interviews and investigations with experts in the competition,it was found that there were some problems in the innovation and entrepreneurship education of students in secondary vocational schools,such as the lack of awareness,non-integration of the innovation and entrepreneurship education into curriculum education system,severe shortage of teachers,immature education models,insufficient resources of school-enterprise cooperation,intramural and extramural practice platforms unable to meet the needs of innovation and entrepreneurship education.Therefore,given the experience of innovation and entrepreneurship education at home and abroad,it is necessary to incorporate innovation and entrepreneurship education into the curriculum education system and talent training plan of secondary vocational schools,continuously optimize the teaching staff,develop a stricter evaluation system,enrich both intramural and extramural practice platforms,and set a new goal of cultivating of innovative and entrepreneurial ability of vocational students,thereby enabling students to better understand the spirit of craftsmanship,so as to enhance students’ entrepreneurial willingness,rationalization of entrepreneurial models,and train more talents with high skills and quality for the country.
