With the social transformation and economic structure adjusting, therequirement for skilled talents become even more. It entered a strategicdevelopment period for vocational school which culture medium professionaltalents. the whole society’s concern for secondary vocational education are alsomore closely. The growth of vocational school related to whole development ofsocial and economic. When people pay more attention of the overall development ofvocational education， headteacher, who the core and practitioners in front line ofeducation, should feels responsibility is doubly important. Headteacher is the firstline of soldiers, the organizer of class activities， the leader in classroommanagement， the mentor of students of vocational school. It can be say thatheadteacher’s qualification related to quality and effectiveness of vocationaleducation.The investigation showed that headteacher’s overall quality has improved，however，their management skills，communication skills, learning ability, counselability with respect, to the development of society, is far behind. Headteacher’scapacity building need to be improved.The paper takes Qian’an vocational education center as example, withinvestigation, questionnaire, interviews, telephone surveys and other angles of ways,conduct vocational headteacher’s ability to a survey and analysis. Combined withthe actual needs of the current society，headteacher’s career guidance for students，professional learning， mental health counseling and other capabilities, in-depthstudy have done aimed at improving teacher’s comprehensive ability.The paper aims to put forward some suggestions on headteacher’s capacitybuilding in vocational school and could help to the development of vocationaleducation，by the research and analysis Qian’an vocational education center.
