| With the development of technology and the progress of society,a new teaching model,the flipped classroom model,has provided one more choices for educators.Its unique teaching mode broadens the learning space of students,enriches the teaching options of teachers,and transforms current classroom teaching into an interactive,open and dynamic learning environment.Its richer,deeper and more meaningful learning experience can be obtained through the zero-distance guidance,communication and discussion between teachers and students,which not only increases students’ interest in learning,but also improves the quality of teacher-student interaction.This article is targeted at the application of flipped classroom in the first semester of the fifth grade of X elementary school.Literature research,teacher interviews,questionnaire surveys and other methods are applied to find out the advantages and disadvantages in the application process,analyse the causes of existing problems.Meanwhile,it strives to provide a theoretical basis for the future primary school mathematics flipped classroom teaching practice.This research is divided into five parts.The first part expounds the application of flipped classroom teaching method in mathematics classroom teaching at home and aboard through related books,literature and journals,and explains the significance,purpose and contents of this research.The second part clarifies the theoretical foundation of flipping the teaching method applied in the elementary school mathematics.Based on the theory and practice,with the support of the school’s tablet hardware,the third part creatively constructs a suitable flipped classroom teaching model for X elementary school,analysing and determining which section of each unit should use the flipped classroom teaching method.In the flipped teaching method,either the pre-study or discussion could be the main mehod.It then explains implementation of the pre-class preparation,in-class teaching design,and after-class learning design in the flipped classroom process,and applys to the teaching of the new teaching contents in the fifth grade.Taking the first unit of the booklet-decimal multiplying decimals and the seventh unit of mathematics wide angle,the tree-planting problem as examples,it shows the whole process of designing a class,which includes the analysis of textbooks and academic conditions,teaching objectives,important and difficult points,the reasons for using the flipped classroom,ideas of teaching design,micro-class teaching records,and classroom teaching records.At the end of third part,it analyses the teacher interviews and student questionnaires of X primary school.The fourth part analyses the current status of X primary school flipped classrooms and the causes for existing problems.Application strategies of flipped classrooms in elementary school mathematics teaching are summed up based on problems in the fifth part,i.e.,improving teachers’ level and classroom learning efficiency,building interactive platforms,actively carrying out subject teaching and research,perfecting teaching evaluation system.All could be served as references to achieve teaching innovation when conducting flipped classroom teaching in elementary school mathematics class. |
