| Learning motivation functions as the inner power that drives students to learn,which directly affects students’ learning results.However currently in many secondary vocational schools in China,to a certain extent students lack learning motivation.It has become one major obstacle to improving teaching quality of secondary vocational school.Reasonably incenting the learning motivation of secondary vocational students and mobilizing the leaning enthusiasm of students in secondary vocational school is not only secondary vocational teachers’ duty but also the demands for developing students’initiative to achieve academic progress and finally to succeed.Therefore,it’s of great urgency and necessity to conduct research on how to effectively incent the learning motivation of students in secondary vocational school.The article is a special study on the learning motivation of secondary vocational students.The article selects a secondary vocational school in Qijiang District of Chongqing as the investigation object,and conducts the survey through questionnaires.Reveals the problems of insufficient learning motivation using questionnaires and proposes some incentive strategies pointedly,in order to provide useful reference and guidance for the education and teaching of secondary vocational schools.The article consists of four following parts.The first part introduction generally summarizes the research background of the topic,clarifies the research purpose and significance,as well as reviews and sorts out relevant literatures.The second part is the analysis of the current situation of the learning motivation of students in secondary vocational school.The article selects a secondary vocational school in Chongqing city where author works as the investigation object,and conducts the survey through questionnaires.The analysis result generally and comprehensively reflects the true current situation of learning motivation of students in secondary vocational school.The third part conducts deeper analysis on the manifestation of and reasons for insufficient learning motivation of secondary vocational students.The author supposes the problems are mainly manifested in unclear learning goals,unplanned learning,low sense of learning interest and initiative,incorrect learning attitude and habits,unscientific learning methods,The reasons for insufficient learning motivation is mainly due to four aspects—individual factors like differences and deficiencies in learning ability and quality,school factors like unscientific talent training system,family factors like poor family environment and lack of educational behavior,as well as the society factor like the impact of public opinion and negative values in society.The last part discusses the strategies for incenting the learning motivation of secondary vocational students.The author believes that the learning motivation can be incented through the following ways.Using guiding policy to enhance both students’ and parents’ recognition in secondary vocational school.Helping students establish long-term learning goals and professional ideals to redesign themselves.Improving teachers’comprehensive quality.Reforming teaching methods,curriculum system and evaluation system.Enhancing the guidance on learning methods and optimizing learning effects.Promoting parents’ educational quality Establish a home-school co-education mechanism. |
