| Employment is an important way for individuals to achieve self-worth,as well as an important way for the handicapped to improve their quality of life and integrate into society.However,the current employment situation of older ASD students is worrying.Transition to work is a key link for individuals to achieve employment.Understanding the obstacles and challenges in the process of Employment-Transition of ASD students is of great significance to their successful transition.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to understand the transition process of ASD students from the perspective of stakeholders,and to understand how ’people and environment’ affect the transition of ASD students and the role and impact of ’people’ in the process by PPCT model.In this study,semi-structured interviews were conducted with 5 parents of ASD students,6 vocational education teachers and 2 employers.The text data are collated and summarized through Situational Analysis and Generic Analysis.Through the experience of ASD students,the influencing factors and the role orientation of stakeholders,the paper analyzes how the human and environmental system affects the process of ASD students,and highlights the impact of the Mesosystem which is the role conflict between the stakeholders.The conclusions are as follows:First,the transition process of ASD students includes the self-help of the parents before the transition,go to high school,go through school reforms,and finally find a job.The process is affected by many factors.Second,from the perspective of stakeholders,the main factors affecting the transition of ASD students include:Emotion and sociality in personal characteristics;Employer’s attitude and parents’ concept in Microsystem;The role conflict of parents in the Mesosystem;Safety of working environment in appearance Exosystem and social acceptance in Macrosystem.Third,in the Ecosystem of ASD students’employment-transition,each system will have a direct or indirect impact on ASD students ’experience and activities,and each system will interact and influence each other.Fourth,stakeholders play different roles in the process,likes parents think they are companions,teachers consider themselves intermediaries and employers consider themselves responsible.However,there are disagreements on the role positioning among stakeholders.Fifth,according to the analysis of the role conflict of stakeholders,it is found that the confusion of responsibility and the difference of ideas are the main causes of the role conflict,which will lead to the lack of tripartite cooperation,and then affect the transition of ASD students.Based on the above results,the researchers found that the impact of ASD students’personal characteristics on their employment transfer is not the most important factor,but environmental factors are important factors in the perspective of stakeholders.Therefore,the researchers gave suggestions from the following three aspects:to accelerate the transformation of ideas,to build a support system and to form a cooperation mechanism.According to that to reduce the impact of the environmental system on the employment-transition of ASD students. |
