To understand the cultivation of students’ key competency in the major of preschool education in secondary vocational school,further implement the state about Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening the Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Promoting Moral Education,answer questions:what kind of people we cultivate and how to train them,this paper takes secondary vocational school D as an example and takes its students majoring in preschool education in grade four as the research object.The framework and its key competency cultivation conditions were studied.This paper used the literature research with the aid of CiteSpace software,based on Chinese students developing key competency framework,and combined with the characteristics of secondary vocational school preschool education major.And then it identified six key competencies:the humanities background,scientific spirit,learning to learn,healthy living,bear responsibility,practice and innovation.These key competency consists of 18 basic key points,such as cultural accumulation,human feelings,aesthetic temperament and interest and so on.On that basis,the questionnaire and interview methods were used to investigate the cultivation of the key competency of the students majoring in preschool education in secondary vocational school.It was found that the students had better key competency of responsibility,and the grade and student cadre experience had a positive impact on the formation of the key competency of students.It is also found that key competencies of students in school are lower than the graduated students’,practice and innovation needs to be improved,learning to learn is relatively lacking.The analysis found that the reasons for the problems in the core literacy of students majoring in preschool education in secondary vocational schools mainly include the government’s insufficient investment in secondary vocational education which affects the cultivation of students’ key competencies,lack of the school reform which restraints the implementation of the core quality,and for lack of learning motivation,consciousness of lifelong learning and habit of active learning for learners.Therefore,the key competency cultivation of learning to learn is not good.In order to solve the problems existing in the cultivation of key competencies of preschool education major students in secondary vocational schools,the government should optimize the allocation of educational resources and build the hard indicators of key competencies.Schools need to change based on key competencies.Schools need to improve the talent training program and optimize the curriculum structure of preschool education;establish and improve the education evaluation system to continuously ensure the construction of students’ key competency.Teachers can optimize teaching design,create effective learning classes,and help key competency have a "soft landing".
