The moving point problem of quadratic function has strong comprehensiveness and abstractness,which is often used as the final topic in the mathematics test paper of senior high school entrance examination,and it is the key and difficult problem in junior high school function teaching.Geometer’s Sketchpad can help students better understand the quadratic function’s moving point problems,cultivate students’ spatial imagination,abstract thinking ability and logical reasoning ability,and then promote the improvement of students’ ability to solve quadratic function’s moving point problems.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the application strategy of Geometer’s Sketchpad aided quadratic function moving point problem,and verify the teaching effect of Geometer’s Sketchpad aided quadratic function moving point problem through teaching practice,so as to provide reference for mathematics teachers’teaching practice of quadratic function moving point problem.In this paper,an investigation was taken in a middle school,which is located in Chifeng City,Inner Mongolia.All of the teachers and students in grade three of the middle school are selected as the subjectsThe questionnaire survey method,Interview analysis and test method are used comprehensively.Understanding the detail that the teachers of three grade of the middle school use Geometer’s Sketchpad to the teaching of The moving point of a quadratic function.The teaching stratgy is discussed in depth,and the teaching result is tested by the teaching experiment.The results show that the frequency of teachers using Geometer’s Sketchpad is low,and they lack the teaching strategy of Geometer’s Sketchpad aided quadratic function moving point problem.But they have a certain understanding of the function of Geometer’s Sketchpad and the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching method,which affirms the teaching achievement of Geometer’s Sketchpad aided quadratic function moving point problem.Meanwhile the majority of students are satisfied with teaching method of Geometer’s Sketchpad aided quadratic function moving point problem.The positive attitude is developed for the teaching experiment of quadratic function moving point assisted by Geometer’s Sketchpad,Geometer’s Sketchpad ccn be used to assist the teaching of quadratic function’s moving point problems from four aspects:using Geometer’s Sketchpad to import quadratic function’s moving point problems,using Geometer’s Sketchpad to demonstrate quadratic function’s moving point problems,using Geometer’s Skctchpad to explore quadratic function’s moving point problems,and using Geometer’s Sketchpad to explain quadratic function’s moving point problems.The results of the special test of quadratic function moving point problems of high school students mobilize most students’ interest in learning quadratic function moving point problems,promote the development of students’ abstract thinking ability,spatial imagination and logical reasoning ability,and promote students’ understanding of the teaching content,which is recognized by most students.Nonetheless there are also a few students who do not adapt to the situation and need teachers to constantly optimize the strategy of Geometer’s Sketchpad.For an example,teachers should focus on practicality,and can master the main functions of Geometer’s Sketchpad.It is necessary for students to have the process and time of thinking,and improve students’ practical ability.Teachers also need combine the traditional teaching methods with the teaching method of Geometer’s Sketchpad.
