There are different opinions on the definition of identity in the academic circle,but the definition proposed by Henri Tajfel has been widely recognized in the academic circle,which plays an important role in the research of identity.It has laid a foundation for the subsequent research in the field of identity and made it achieve long-term development both in theory and in practice.Focusing on high school students’ multiple identities,this study explored the impact of multiple identities on interpersonal satisfaction through investigation and research on the basis of literature review,and analyzed and tested the mediating role of self-evaluation in the impact of multiple identities on interpersonal satisfaction.From the perspective of social psychology,this study aimed at the influence of high school students’ multiple identities on self-impression and interpersonal relationship satisfaction.Study 1 used questionnaire nomination method(N=43)to nominate the group identity of high school students.The three most nominated were family group identity,student group identity and peer group identity,followed by class group identity and national group identity,and the least were gender group identity,age group identity and interest group identity.Study 2a investigated the importance of group identity that high school students were concerned about through questionnaire(N=383),and national identity and family group identity were the most important for high school students.The second is student and gender group identity.Finally,interest group identity.Among them,identity nomination,importance evaluation and importance ranking results are highly consistent.In Study 2b,through questionnaire(N=383),high school students’ multiple identities had an impact on interpersonal satisfaction through self-evaluation,and self-evaluation played a partial mediating role.Among the dimensions of self-evaluation,only social relations and state of mind have significant mediating effect.On the whole,each dimension of self-evaluation partially mediates the effect of group identity number on interpersonal relationship satisfaction.This study clarified the relationship between high school students’ multiple identities and interpersonal satisfaction,highlighted the partial mediating role of self-evaluation,and provided a rich basis for improving the psychological satisfaction of high school students.
