As an important part of educational evaluation,painting evaluation plays an important guiding role in children’s development.Evaluation of painting has an important influence on children’s art appreciation and creation.By combing the domestic and foreign research of painting evaluation criteria and characteristics,we found that there are few comparative studies on it.In order to explore the differences and guide the improvement,90 children,parents and teachers from three kindergartens were selected as subjects,and children’s painting were used as research tools.The study probes into the aesthetic evaluation standards and characteristics of children’s peers,parents,teachers through the interview from the two aspects:inside and outside the painting.The results show that,on the whole,the evaluation inside the painting by different subject is higher than that outside the painting.In the evaluation inside the painting,different subjects have significant differences in effect,color,sculpt,composition and motif.To be more specific,the positive evaluation of different subjects is higher than the negative evaluation;children and parents pay more attention to the consistency between color and reality,while teachers pay more attention to the independence of children in the use of color;children and parents emphasize realism,while teachers pay attention to the creativity of modeling;children and parents seldom pay attention to the composition,while teachers pay attention to the balance and coordination of the layout;children and parents pay attention to the picture content itself,while teachers pay more attention to the conception of the picture content.As for the evaluation outside the painting,there are significant differences in the evaluation of children’s intelligence,skills and quality reflected in the painting among different subjects.The evaluation on children’s skills was significantly higher than that on their intelligence,emotion and quality.According to the research results,we believe that we should improve the communication between different evaluation subjects.We should give positive encouragement to children’s painting and try our best to keep the consistency and richness of the evaluation criteria of their painting works on the basis of respecting children.
