As a brilliant cultural treasure of Chinese civilization,Chinese classics are the cream of our traditional culture.They are also valuable cultural heritage for our children’s enlightenment education.They are effective carriers to help children form good moral character and promote the all-round development of children’s physical and mental development.Chinese classics cover a wide range of cultural and ideological content,which plays an irreplaceable role in the continuation and development of Chinese civilization and the promotion of human civilization inheritance and progress.It has a long history to carry out classical reading activities in kindergartens.In the past,private school teachers would teach children to read the Three Character Classic,hundred family names and thousand character text.The development of Chinese classics reading courses and activities in kindergartens is conducive to the promotion of traditional Chinese culture,to the cultivation of children’s literary aesthetic level,to the formation of correct values and moral outlooks,and to the healthy growth of children’s body and mind.In addition,through the effective implementation of classic reading courses,children can be familiar with classics from childhood,which can help them exercise their language sense and enhance their perceptual knowledge of classical poetry,which has a positive role in improving their Chinese literacy.If we want to successfully carry out classical reading activities in kindergartens,we can not do without the development of high-quality classical reading kindergarten based curriculum.Compared with the universal curriculum widely used in kindergartens in China,kindergarten-based curriculum can consider the development status and actual needs of kindergartens and children more.Different types of kindergarten based curriculum development can be carried out according to the characteristics of kindergartens,so as to mobilize teachers’ enthusiasm for curriculum development.Through the development of Chinese classic reading kindergarten based curriculum,the kindergarten can form the continuous influence of Chinese classic culture on children,improve the teaching ability and professional quality of kindergarten teachers,and construct the characteristics of kindergarten teaching,which can be said to do more with one stone.This paper first expounds the research background and significance of the project,then discriminates the key concepts of Chinese classics,children’s classic reading and kindergarten based curriculum development,and points out the research purpose,research content,research ideas and methods.This paper focuses on the analysis of the domestic and foreign research literature on the development of Kindergarten Based Curriculum and the reading of Chinese classics,and points out the research status of the value,significance and process of kindergarten based curriculum development,so as to lay the foundation for the specific case study and investigation below.In order to explore the real situation of the development of Chinese Classic Reading Textbooks in kindergartens in China,this paper selects Q kindergarten in Yibin City as the case study object.Through questionnaire survey,interview research and observation research,it objectively presents the current situation of the development of Chinese classic reading textbook in Q kindergarten as far as possible.Then,it analyzes the achievements of the development of classic reading in Q kindergarten,such as the formation of Chinese classic reading kindergarten textbook,and the children have made gratifying progress in language sense,expression ability and behavior management through the development of classic reading course.This paper points out the main problems of Chinese classics as a kindergarten based curriculum,such as the low comprehensive quality of kindergarten teachers;the lack of initiative in the construction of kindergarten based curriculum;the misunderstanding of kindergarten based curriculum construction;the lack of perfect evaluation system and incentive mechanism in kindergarten.Finally,based on the relevant theories and the actual situation of kindergartens,the author puts forward a series of specific suggestions and Countermeasures for the specific problems found in the questionnaire survey,such as: strengthening teacher training to improve teachers’ Chinese culture literacy;strengthening interaction between kindergarten and family,encouraging parents to actively participate;constantly improving professional knowledge and skills to promote teachers’ professional development;strengthening integration,We should enrich the forms and methods of reading Chinese classics,improve the evaluation system and incentive mechanism of the development of classical reading garden based curriculum.And the research results of this paper are summarized and reflected.
