Hidden curriculum of Chinese Classics of Elementary education can do better to broaden student's knowledge of our glorious history,build their sense of national confidence as well as pride than dominant curriculum of Chinese Classics with its unique function and features.It is also more profound and long-term to rectify outlook and value on life of elementary school students, cultivate favorable habits of moral behavior and raise language ability.As for as the status, elementary education of Chinese Classics is just a mere formality which only focus on dominant curriculum. What' more, authentic educational concept and target of education of Chinese Classics are not correctly understood. For all the situation above, the author carried out a research about elementary education of Chinese Classics, especially exploitation of hidden curriculum. Through researches at 6 elementary schools located in Shijiazhuang, Baoding and tangshan of Hebei province, the author finds that we have made some achievements of exploitation of hidden curriculum of Chinese Classics of Elementary education, but there are still many problems. For instance, its authentic educational concept and target are not so clear; the theme is really obscure, exploitation methods are simplex and aimless; exploitation principle is unreasonable; exploitation details are not integrated and so on.The author also analyzed the possible causes aimed at all the problems above: educators are too utilitarian and lack of Chinese traditional culture accomplishment; we lack of recognition about connotation and significance of hidden curriculum of Chinese Classics of elementary education; we have no professional curriculum development organization with leadership and are short of security system of curriculum exploitation.Aiming at those problems and possible reasons, the author offered some pointed suggestions.
