With the rapid development of society and economy,China has entered the age of population aging.The elderly empty nest and disability phenomenon become more and more serious.Moreover,Traditional family care functions are declining day by day.China’s elderly care industry is facing extremely severe challenges.In order to effectively solve the problem of population aging and diversify the demand of elderly services,the development of elderly service industry has become an important part of the construction of China’s social pension system,which meets the interests of all the elderly.For all families,the key to the development of elderly services is to train nursing staff.Practice teaching in secondary vocational schools can cultivate students’ operational skills and professional awareness.At the same time,in order to maintain the rapid development of the service industry for the aged,professional training of secondary vocational schools also ushered in new development opportunities,especially in the field of practical teaching put forward new direction and higher requirements.By using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and interview,this paper takes the elderly service and management major of a secondary vocational school in T City as an example to investigate the first and second grade students and graduates of the major,and interviews the practice teachers of the major,so as to understand the current situation of the practice teaching of the major,And from the five aspects of teaching content,teaching methods,teaching evaluation,teaching environment and teachers,it is found that there are the following problems in the practice teaching of the elderly service and management major in secondary vocational schools: the teaching content of the practice course is not targeted;the teaching method of the practice course is single;the teaching evaluation of the practice course is not scientific;the teaching environment of the practice course is not perfect;the teachers of the practice course are not qualified The financial strength is weak.Based on the above problems,in order to improve the practical teaching effect of the elderly service and management major in secondary vocational schools,the paper puts forward the following countermeasures: optimize the teaching content,close to the post requirements of the elderly;change the teaching concept,innovate the teaching form of the elderly;improve the evaluation system,promote the diversification of the professional evaluation of the elderly;take the needs of the elderly as the guide,strengthen theconstruction of practical teachers;strengthen the practice of the elderly Base,the development of elderly practice teaching resources.
