This article focuses on the mechanism and path of human capital’s influence on the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry,that is,analyzing the influence of human capital on the green transformation,innovation capability and structural efficiency of the manufacturing industry.Firstly,the thesis defines the concept of human capital and the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry,reviews relevant literature,and sorts out the theories related to human capital,economic growth methods and the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.Secondly,it takes the "Made in China 2025" strategic first demonstration area(Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces)as a sample,analyzes the current human capital and manufacturing industry development in the current sample area and the actual basis and constraints,and then proposes the necessity of manufacturing development.Thirdly,the paper,based on the theoretical mechanism of human capital affecting the green transformation,innovation capability and structural efficiency of the manufacturing industry,constructs an indicator system of educational human capital and skilled human capital,using panel data from the three provinces of Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong from 2006 to 2018.Empirical research on the direction and extent of its impact on the green transformation,innovation capability and structural efficiency of the manufacturing industry from multiple dimensions.At the same time,the interaction terms are used to verify whether human capital and energy and technology research and development can interact to promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.The realization of "Manufacturing 2025" strategic goals and the improvement of the human capital level of the manufacturing industry provide a certain theoretical basis and policy support.By improving the entropy method,the paper constructs the educational human capital index system and the skill human capital index system,then determines the index weights,and measures the educational human capital of the sample areas from 2006 to 2018 to show a steady upward trend.However,there is still a gap between the level of educational human capital and developed countries.The level of skilled human capital fluctuates greatly,and the upward trend is small,but it has accelerated after 2015.The sample areas manufacturing industry accounts for a large proportion of my country’s manufacturing industry,with high labor production efficiency.it’s significant green transformation effects.it still has a gap with developed countries,although the gap with Germany and Japan has narrowed.At the same time,the financing pressure of the manufacturing industry has increased,the proportion of social investment has shrunk,the import and export structure is unreasonable,the import dependence of high-tech products is high,the basic research and development capabilities of high-tech industries are insufficient,and the labor cost advantage is weakened.It is imperative.By constructing a green transformation indicator system for manufacturing,using the improved entropy method and empirical research to measure the change trend of the green transformation capability of the manufacturing industry in the sample areas from 2006 to2018,the ratio of medium and high-tech industries to low-tech industries and the Theil index were used respectively.Measured the innovation capacity and structural efficiency of the manufacturing industry in the sample regions from 2006 to 2018.On this basis,using panel data from the three provinces of Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong from 2006 to2018,three sets of econometric models were constructed respectively in which human capital affects the green transformation of the manufacturing industry,the innovation capability of the manufacturing industry,and the structural efficiency of the manufacturing industry.The results show that: First,human capital can promote the green transformation of manufacturing in the three provinces of Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong,among which the role of education human capital is stronger.From the perspective of interaction,both educational human capital and skilled human resources can promote green transformation by optimizing the energy consumption structure;second,from the perspective of innovation capability,human capital effectively promotes the improvement of manufacturing innovation capabilities in the three provinces of Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong and promotes leading industries Transition to technology and knowledge-intensive;third,from the perspective of structural efficiency,education human capital has a direct effect on the improvement of manufacturing structural efficiency.However,no matter from the perspective of green transformation,innovation capability or structural efficiency,current human capital(including education and skills)is not enough to form an effective synergy with technology research and development to promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing.Based on the above research results,this article believes that the government should promote the status of vocational education,accelerate the construction of high-skilled workers in the manufacturing industry,improve the quality of general higher education,further optimize the manufacturing business environment,and give play to the agglomeration effect of human capital;reduce business costs;accelerate guidance Enterprise green development. |
