In 2014,core literacy appeared for the first time in a document issued by the state.It was not until 2016 that the overall framework of core literacy was released,and it was gradually widely studied by scholars.The physical education curriculum in colleges and universities is a process of comprehensively improving the physical quality and skills of college students,and it is also an important part of the development of physical education in our country.At present,our country is still in its infancy in "how to better cultivate students’ core literacy through curriculum and teaching reforms".There is still a lack of systematic research on the cultivation and education of students’ sports core literacy.Experts and academic circles have realized this problem.But in general,the issue of the cultivation of college students’ sports core literacy basically belongs to a subject research field that has not yet been widely concerned,and the research on this issue still needs to be in-depth.This project is based on 800 college students in general universities in southeast Hubei as the research object,uses literature data method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and other research methods,takes core literacy as the starting point,and completes the questionnaire in combination with literature data.Finally,it mainly uses questionnaire survey method and interview method,combined with related material investigation,deeply analyzes the current situation of college students’ sports core literacy training and the causes of problems,and finds out the strategies,ways and methods to further improve and strengthen the college students’ sports core literacy training.Based on the status quo and problem-oriented,specific measures for cultivating college students’ sports core qualities are proposed.Through the above research,the following conclusions are drawn: 1.The core physical literacy of college students in southeastern Hubei is still in the basic literacy stage,and the athletic ability,self-evaluation ability and awareness need to be improved.2.The theoretical knowledge of sports health is not complete and limited to common sense,and lack of in-depth thinking about scientific exercise.3.The role awareness and team cohesion need to be further strengthened.4.Students’ subjective factors,school factors,and teacher factors are of great significance to the cultivation of sports core literacy.In response to the above problems,the training methods proposed for this are:first,in terms of athletic ability,improve sports hardware resources,create a good sports atmosphere,and enrich sports activities;second,in terms of health knowledge and behavior,play the main channel role to improve schools Pay attention to the degree and fully tap the curriculum resources;third,in terms of sports morality,cultivate sports emotions,develop curriculum cultural resources,and improve the evaluation system.It also provides reference ideas for the research on core literacy of other school sports.
