| Globalization is a common trend in the development of the world today,and all nations in the world are increasingly aware of the importance of national culture.The Chinese nation ’ s culture has a long history,and there are many contents worth inheriting and carrying forward.The traditional communication methods in the past have gradually been unable to keep up.The trend of the times,and the characteristics of fast dissemination efficiency,wide dissemination range,and diversified audiences of online games have attracted attention.How to effectively use online games to realize the dissemination of national culture has also become an issue of academic discussion and an important content for realizing cultural self-confidence.With the rapid development of the Internet age,online games,as a new form of media,are increasingly favored by young people and have become an important carrier for spreading national culture.As the most successful case in the development of the mobile game industry,"Arena of Valor" extends the heroes of the game from various histories and myths,shaping many game characters related to Chinese national culture,and deepening the users.Understanding of national culture has become an important carrier of national cultural transmission.Therefore,how to spread national culture through the narrative construction of online games is not only an economic proposition for industrial development,but also a political proposition for the full realization of cultural revival.This article takes "Arena of Valor" as an example,through text analysis and Seymour Chatman’s narrative theory,starting from the construction of national cultural plot narrative,character narrative construction and scene narrative construction of online games,it discusses online game narratives.It also analyzes the relationship between online game narratives in the spread of national culture,and puts forward some thoughts.This research integrates online games and national culture,and further expands the scope of national cultural research.It can not only provide some inspiration for the industrialization of online games,but also provide new ideas for the protection and inheritance of national culture. |
