After the reform and opening up,case teaching method has attracted the attention of the education circle,and has been gradually popularized and applied in the teaching of accounting courses in secondary vocational schools.Compared with the traditional teaching method,this method is generally considered as a rather effective teaching method because of its rich case content,diversified teaching organization forms and interactive teaching process.However,in practice,although case teaching method can improve the teaching effect of accounting courses in secondary vocational schools to a certain extent,there are still some specific problems that cannot be ignored in the concrete application process.Through questionnaires and interviews,it is found that as a teaching method which has been highly valued and applied in secondary vocational schools for several decades,it has not been fully recognized and accepted by students either in stimulating students’ interest in learning or in learning theoretical knowledge.In the teaching process,the application of case teaching method presents the phenomenon of mechanical and technical operation.Teachers often formalize the links such as case presentation,classroom discussion and teaching evaluation,and only carry out programmed homework to complete the teaching task,while ignoring the application purpose of this method.In terms of teaching resources,the quality problem of the cases is particularly serious.The content is too old,the degree of difficulty is not reasonable and other problems have an obvious impact on the teaching effect.In addition,the form of teaching organization is relatively simple,the interaction of classroom teaching is limited,and the role of case teaching method is not fully exerted.The main reasons include three aspects.First,although case teaching method has been applied in secondary vocational schools,it has not attracted enough attention.Secondly,the individual secondary vocational teachers have limited knowledge and experience of this method,so they cannot effectively apply the case teaching method in classroom teaching.Third,the lack of teaching resources restricts the application of this method.Therefore,to improve the application effect of case teaching method in the course teaching of accounting major in secondary vocational schools,we should first establish a targeted method application training mechanism and organize and carry out related teaching activities.Secondly,we should pay attention to the professional development of secondary vocational teachers,and urge them to update their teaching philosophy and enhance their professional ability.Thirdly,it is necessary to strengthen the development of teaching resources,strengthen the construction of case base,and improve the quality of teaching cases.Finally,strengthen communication and cooperation with enterprises.
